Is it "Berlv", or "Bee-oolv"? Or something else?

Sounds like French, so I'd guess something like Bowl-Vay.

Thats funny BG, I used to just say "Bee-Olv" cuz when I first played it, french pronunciations weren't exactly common in my vocab. But now that you mention it, you are probably right.

Plus "Bol-vay" sounds alot more suitable for a upper class ruling family name, very aristrocratic

I always thought it was like Beowulf without the 'w' sound.

I knew all those years of high school French would come in handy someday. :)

Pretty much.

I have no idea how it's actually pronounced but I go with Bay Ol' Vay. :choc2:

Actually my favorite pronounciation would be Boo-Vlay, but that ignores the spelling. :p

I read somewhere that "Beoulve" might've been a mistranslation of "Beowulf," so I thought it was pronounced like "Beo-ulv" (saying it fast might make it sound like "Beowulv"?).
