Alright, I've been wondering about this for frickin' years and never found a direct answer. Here goes.
What's the difference between the Choco/Mog Materia's "Deathblow!!" and "Fat-Chocobo"? I assume the latter doesn't inflict Stop on the enemy like Deathblow!! does, rather it deals more damage.
And what actually influences whether you'll get Fat-Chocobo or not?

The fat chocobo is kinda cute...
But still, i prefer the original Deathblow because of its Stop effects.

So did I. And this was while I was trying to fight the guy in the safe. I wanted Choco-Mog to stop him, but instead I just kept casting Fat Chocobo on him. That's about how my luck is. When it comes to contests and casinos, I can kick major ass, but when it comes to my life, I don't have any luck at all.
