Well, I wiki'd my birthday according to the thread about who was born on the same day as you, and there was a section showing what happened, as well. In this section, I found that on October 9th, 1992, my birthday, a 13 Kilogram Meteorite landed on Earth, destroying a 1980 Chevrolet Malibu in New York, in someone's driveway. >_> Lawl.

So, did anything odd happen on the day YOU were born?

Republika Srpska announced its independence, according to Wikipedia.

I get the feeling people mess around with the dates for the heck of it, because it also says that on April 7th, 1991, "Ben was born".
