How old were you when you first learned to ride a bike? I must have been about 7 or 8 at the time.

5 or 6. My first bike was pure black and I think it had something like "WILDCAT" or "BOBCAT" emblazoned along the side, with a few fire stickers here and there.

10, unless you count a tricycle. Then it would be 6.

I don't remember the age, but it was on a really really small bike that I somehow managed to keep my awkward body's balance on.

I was about 6. I never learned as such, I got a bike for my birthday then just went out and rode on it first time.

I was twelve n.n

I really really didn't want to ride my bike. My parents made me learn, and I still don't ride it :mad2:

16. :}

I learned on my best buddie's little sister's bike. It's the only bike I can actually ride. It's quite small, but all the other are just too much for me to handle. :|

I learned to ride a bike the day I first got on one. No training wheels for me. I then went on to win the Tour De France. I happened to be five.

21. :(

I did learn to ride in the park when I was about 7 or 8, but since I walked and took a train everywhere there was no real use for a bike. When I came to university, I had to learn to take the 15 minute trip into town on my bike. Again I had to go to the park to get my confidence up enough so I could bike it into town along the cycle path.

Now I actually live in town and work is a walking distance away I tend not to use the bike anymore.

oh man, I have no clue. We have this little hill in our back yard, so when my dad took my training wheels off, he would start me at the top and let me go down it and start yelling for me to start pedalling, and if I got going, I could make it up the next hill by our garden xD

It was grassy so it didn't matter if I fell :D

I always wanted streamers and a horn :( when I did get a horn I think it was broken!

With training wheels, I think I was 4 or 5. Without them, 8. I hate riding my bike.

About 7 or 8? I kept running into fences...and they were METAL.

Oh, jesus. I used to ride a bike with stabilisers CONSTANTLY until I was about 8, then I didn't do any biking, and when I was ten I decided that I'd left it far too late and everyone else already knew how, so it would just be mortifying if I tried to learn at this point. Oh well. I can sort of but not properly.

My dad couldn't teach a lemming to commit suicide without losing his temper first, so I had no chance of learning to ride a bike from him and still can't do it despite numerous efforts made at various times in my life.

I think I was six. But I never really had to learn to ride it, as I got it right first try. :D

All humans can ride a bike, and swim in water. These are things I take for granted (like I'd go 'wtf is wrong with you' if you can't do either, and have done that to my friends). I learned to ride a bike when I was 7 years old, I think. I don't recall riding bikes when I was in grade 1, but I was probably on training wheels at the time.

I was also swimming since I was 8, FYI.

I... don't remember. I was probably four or five. My uncle taught me early.

I was around 4 or 5 when I was forced to actually learn how to ride my bike without training wheels. My father couldn't stand to have a boy that couldn't manage to ride a bike without training wheels.

It was so very embarassing, you see.

I think I learned with training wheels when I was 6, then had them taken off when I was 7. Haven't really ridden since I was 9 though :p
