Which boss tends to give you trouble every single time?

In every game I ever play there is always one section I find way harder than the rest, and once I'm through that I pretty much breeze through the rest. But on the subject on FF7, which boss do you always have a bit of trouble getting past?

Mine is Schizo, the annoying two-headed thing on Gaea's Cliff that spits fire and ice on you. Normally I tend to be okay if I can manange to equip all the proper elemental defensive stuff, but even then it always poses a challenge because its attack pattern is quite unpredictable: Never possible to tell when it's gonna get its next attack (I swear it's sometimes getting some in when it shouldn't be able to.) So now, on my current save, which is initial equipment and no additional Materia, every single one of their attacks does at least 900 damage and I'm really struggling :P Having Yuffie on Fury so that every single attack fills her Limit gauge and enables her to use Clear Tranquil is somewhat helpful, but not much.

Go on, which boss gets on your nerves?

schizo, sometimes rapps, sometimes materia keeper, and jenova life always kills off my characters without water ring in like two turns.

I had one time where it took me an hour to beat Schizo, but I beat it by having Cait Sith equipped w/ ice-asorbe, so whenever I got hit w/ fire attack, the ic attack healed me, then I got the limit break where he turns huge. (By that time Cloud and Tifa were already dead) Usually he doesn't cause trouble but just that on time he did.

The Materia Keeper was a pushover for me, as were all of the Jenova battles.

If Schizo is the pet of Don Corneo, then that's the boss I have most problem defeating.

It's that two-headed dragon fight that comes out of nowhere, if I'm not mistaken.

Materia Keeper is the only boss I ever have trouble with. It's practically the only battle I'm ever forced to use Aeris Outside of the areas you must use her.

In the Materia Keeper fight I always go in with her on a full limit break so she can use Seal Evil instantly. Then Cloud hacks away with physicals and Tifa hits it with magic. Then it's normally dead before it starts moving again.

I used to hate Demon's Gate, in the Temple of the Ancients. But on my current play, he was easy. :D

Oh yea, I had an extremely easy time on Corneo's pet in Wutai (took a while tho) but the Demon's Gate also gives me a bit of trouble.

the first time i played through there were a few that got me. materia keeper, demon wall, JENOVA 2, schizo, carry armour. now ia hevt ehm sorted and it's just carry armour that annoys me and can be difficult. JENOVA 2 can be hard if i haven't prepared beforehand

oh i forgot about carry armor when i dont have knights of the round, and demon wall always used to give me trouble, because i would load everyone with materia, instead of giving cloud a pure fighter class, which is what i did this time.

I've been stuck on the following bosses before: Demon Wall, Jenova Life (without Water Ring), Schizo, Safer Sephiroth. Emerald and Ruby Weapons too, if they count. Gi Nattak was also quite hard until I used X-Potion against it.

People always say demon wall is really hard, but I find him mega easy, I find Red dragon harder.

Honorable mention: Carry Armor. The easiest fight I ever had with him was, ironically, on my No Materia save way back when.

Yeah, so did I. Man, I used to hate him, especially when he would pick up one of my party members. But the other day I beat him without him getting a chance to pick anyone up. :pinkelephant:

Oh, bloody Carry Armour was a pain in the arse! :mad2:

I also struggled with Demon Wall, and the Lost Number creature. :(
