Hating the Overrated

Has any of you here had an excessive hate of anything that was overrated in your opinion? Don't list examples because this thread will probably end up getting closed because of them.

I have that kind of hate all the time especially since no one else seems to hate the things that I do.

Not within my cultural mediums. I can generally tolerate things there. But entirely different things? Yeah. For example, numerous sports.

There's always something someone will "hate" but hate is too strong of a word to be used so often.

eh, i try not to hate things i think are overrated. i just get annoyed when that thing interferes with me and my life.

Yep. Quite often. But I also try to see the good side of certain overrated things. If I can't find anything that I consider good, then I obviously don't like it for a real, legit reason. Even so, I still love to tell people I hate what they like...just to cause some havoc, heheheh :mog:

I don't hate things necessarily because they are overrated but it can irritate me. When people go on and on about how fantastic something is constantly (no matter how good it is), that's something I hate. So it's not really the fact that it's overrated that I hate, more the people who make it overrated =P

I don't necessarily hate overrated things, people have different tastes and such. However, I do think a lot of things are overrated.

I hate The Beatles. Music is just not that great. Coke is also a hate. It's nasty. But yes, you can get bored/tired of things that are just overplayed/overused/over talked over.

I hate it when things get a bad name because they are overrated and people think that they are worse than they actually are.

Just because it's overrated doesn't mean it's not good. Just that it's not as good as believed by the general population. Of course, there are times when it is not good and those are the times I hated it. I didn't like it before, but its being overrated annoyed me to the point where I hated it. If it was good, its being overrated annoyed me, but I still liked it. Hope I'm not being too vague.

If you don't list them, then this thread is has no real point because if you think something is overrated, that means you don't think it's as good as people say it is, and that goes for hating something you don't think is as good as people say. If you don't list what you hate you're just going to get a hundred "well no :skull::skull::skull::skull: sherlock"'s.
