For people into drawing, art etc.

Who are your favorite artists, pencilists, inkers, painters, etc etc.

For me anything after the mid 90's seems to be deemed as a favorite. When I look back on some of the comics I have from like 95 to at least 00, it seems all the characters are just really blocky and ugly. Like nobody has any form or rounded-ness at all. But maybe that's just me.

Alex Ross, Salvador Larroca, Steve McNiven, Chris Bachalo, Mike Deodato Jr., John Cassaday, Tim Sale, Stuart Immonen and Frank Quitely are all among my favourite comic artists and have been for years. I've also been quite taken with Ron Garney and his work on Amazing Spider-Man the last few months. I wasn't that impressed with him originally as he reminded me a lot of John Romita Jr., but he's managed a level of emotion and expressiveness in the last arc that not many artists pull off.

Favourite artists are Rembrandt, Yoshitaka Amano, & Salvadore Dali. All exceptional with graphite to boot. :monster:
