Damn glitchy PC version!

On the PC version I keep getting this glitch on disc 3 when you are in the ragnarok for the first time, after squall has entered the codes to get the ragnarok back home, after he turns off the gravity and says done, the game freezes a few seconds later. That includes the moving space background, does anyone have a solution?

Yeah, it often does that.
It happened to me at other places.
Best way?
do something else.
Go save at the other save point instead, waste some time, it might shake it off.
Works for me.
Also, clean your disk with a disk cleaner.
If you have a earlyer save file, try something different.
That's about all you can do that works.

EDIT: this still won't work, I've waited for ages and even done seed tests and it still won't work. I don't have any earlier save files.

If you ask really nicely I can reinstall FF8, you can send me the file, and I'll try playing past that point for you. Like I say, you'll have to ask really nicely. :love:

I've heard of this problem but apparently it was fixed in an update. If you go on torrentspy.com and look around the comments on Final Fantasy VIII (pc) you'll see people discussing it. The comments are down at the minute so I cant copy and paste them.

But I do think it was done through an update. I have two patches that might fix it (since I never got any problems after using them), one for Geforce cards and one for other cards. Could upload them if you want to try them out, just make sure you make a backup of the three files they replace.
