Just one last week until Kanye's new record.
Some goodies to hold you over:
<A href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZd1Js0QaOI">Stronger</A> featuring Daft Punk and Akira references.
<A href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpwgYsYWwdc">Can't Tell me Nothing</A> featuring Zach Galifianakis and endless hilarity.
I assure you, the new record is worth every ounce of anticipation you can muster.

I have the album already. I'll listen to it on the bus to college tomorrow and see how it is. I hope his ego's deflated.

While the video for Stronger is undoubtably cool for both Daft Punk and Akira, I abhore rap and modern R'n'B music so much to make it clear that the statement about anticipation, in metric or imperial measurements, is slightly off-key.

If you don't like Kanye's ego you might as well not even bother with him, because he's never going to stop being egotistical. Ego is important in hip-hop, and honestly, with the music that Kanye cooks up, he's earned the right to be as cocky as he pleases as far as I'm concerned.

Whoa, I've never liked Kanye's stuff before but Stronger is totally awesome.

I liked The College Dropout. He wasn't egotistical back then. :}
Edit: Don't get me wrong, I still like his music, he could just stand to lose a few pounds in that area.

"Stronger" was actually one of the few remixes of "Harder, Better, Faster, Strong" I've ever enjoyed (the only other notable one being the Neptunes Remix on the Daft Club album). God knows ever since I got down to Miami, the only thing they play on the radio are remixes of that song, it seems.
I've never really listened to Kanye West before, but "Stronger" has me interested.

he's a phenomenal producer, but you can listen to each of his songs and figure out what legendary beatmaker he stole the style from. As a rapper it's not just his egotistical nature but he gets this metrosexual style thing going on that I simply can't stand.
I'm sure the album will be great though.

Every ounce huh? My anticipation is weightless (if ounces is used in terms of weight) for it then. I like Kanye West just about as much some of you like emo music. In other words, I can't stand the guy. I wish someone would pop his overinflated egotistical head. Not to mention, he stole (I don't care if he did it legally, I still call it stolen) parts of Ray Charles' not-awful music for his song 'Gold Digger' and that was more than enough to make me hate him.

So this is your first time listening to hip hop?
Stronger's pretty good. Also, oh that Zatch.

certain samples you can't get away with. Like Jay-Z with "ain't no woman" or "justify my love'. those were corny.

No, it's forced upon me much more than what I'm comfortable with. And no, I realize that so many decent songs are stolen and wrecked just because people can't use their own talent and be creative.

Good Morning and Big Brother are tracks of complete excellence.Have you heard the bonus tracks from the Japanese retail? It's a shame they didn't make it on the regular tracklist, because they're probably my favorite tracks on the record, if not modern hip-hop in general.

I'll wait to buy it legitimately, but it has really big shoes to fill after Late Registration.
Kanye is one of the few rappers in the mainstream I can stand.

If I could get my hands on them I'd be a happy man.
