how do you beat Zeromus What spells work against him?

You received an item just before taking on zeromus.
Perhaps there is a reason you received the item :)


If it's not that then...

Physical attacks and summons work well if I remember.
He counters regular magic attacks I think though.
Oh, and lots of healing.... lots of healing.

you'll want to have Rydia (lowest HP) with at least enough HP to survive one big bang. That way most of the time you can have Rosa bring everyone back up with Curaja.

You want to use everyone's best everything. Kain should jump, if you have something really strong to throw (shurikens) for Edge you should do that, then throw all the best weapons you have. Rydia should use her best summon, if you have Bahamut, it's that, next would be Leviathan, next would be Titan or Dragon, not too sure, just check which one has more MP.

After you use the Crystal you got from Golbez any magic causing damage should work on him.
