Sad Tunes

I'm listening at "Mining Town" from FFVII ost right now,and i think it has a very sad tune...I think that the whole FFVII ost has mostly a sad mood.
So,which FF tunes make you :( ?

"Can You Hear the Planet Cry" Is a sad tune I like.

"Aria, the Maiden of Water" is the saddest FF tune ever, for me. Second saddest would be "Nostalgia" in FF V (the game that had the best and saddest deaths in the entire series, IMHO) and "Cry in Sorrow" in FF IV is pretty sad as well, certainly the Chocobo Tales remix, I believe.

I've always found Anxious Heart to be a very depressing piece of music that I've always loved for some reason.

As for the more poignant pieces Forever Rachel and Nostalgia, I do like them and find them to be terribly sad but they don't compete with Leaving the Body from Chrono Cross (despite not being an FF piece).

The ending theme from FFX....that piano piece after the hymn of the fayth part brings tears to my eyes every time it is so achingly beautiful...combined with the ending it is a guarenteed waterworker.
After that I just love the version of Shadow's theme in the ending of FFVI. I just wish the tune had more to it, so you could make a song out of it or something...

A lot of the piano version tracks, especially from FFX/FFX-2, and a track simply titled Sad Song from Threads of Fate...I guess they were running out of ideas for names of Rue's songs XD

Mining Town is underappreciated, its kind of sad but relaxing too I think.

Aeris' theme is a sad one for me, its played in various forms a lot on disc 1, before she dies.
