Ok the other night I was playing and I finally got vaan to master every liscence and all that is left is the 2 espers I'm gonna give to him.

I also have every esper except famfrit, zodiark and hasmal(ultima was hard to me, but that is only because I had no pheonix downs left and the MP sap didn't help).

I have yet to fight the hell wrym, omega, and Yiazmat. and I'm supposed to be going to the pharos.

Question:"Is zodiark and omega hard?"

...anyway for your questions. I can't say much about Omega cause I haven't gotten to him yet (I still need to knock off six more life bars on Yiazmat myself) Zodiark is another story. Getting to him is the real problem cause the path to him is long and filled with some nasty creatures that like to sap large chunks of your parties health or those damn Hectates that confuse your party:mad:

Zodiark is not so difficult as much as he's a cheap bastard. He loves using magic and physical pailings (in fact when he's close to dead all you can hurt him with is magic) but the real cheapness comes from his annoying Darkja attack. Granted, a few Black Masks make damage no problem but the attack (like most of the spers special level four element spells) has a side effect. It causes Instant Death. Not all the time but it is not uncommon for it to actually kill all three (or four if you have a guest) of your characters. He likes to spam this spell as well so he quickly gets annoying. His other spell of choice is Scathe which can be an issue since your party like to group together alot. Basically, keep your wits about you and if you are high enough in levels, you might be able to kill him with a Mist Quickening when he reaches half health (after 50% is gone, he starts using the pailings). I think your next task is to complete Pharos, only then will Geomancer Yugelu grant you access to a secret area in the Henne Mines where the Zodiark esper lurks.

There sold in the Balfoheim armor shop. Also Zodiark becomes available once you have 10 espers I believe. Good luck ;)

Update: I got vaan ashe and frans licsence bords full and got my butt handed to me by the neglamuur looking things on the way to zodiark

u can also steal black masks from banshee in nabreus deadlands.
but its a very rare steal.
