Fried Chicken! (and kool aid)

What's the best fried chicken you've ever had? Why was it so yummy? Please don't say KFC. If you've never had fried chicken, WHY THE HELL NOT??

The best fried chicken I've had comes from The Loft in Torrance California.

There it's called "Island Fried Chicken" and the chicken is moist and juicy and the outside is crunchy and delicious and most importantly there is a distinct sweetness to the chicken. I guess that's the "Island" part of it. I have no idea what they do to get that delicate balance of flavor but it's phenomenal and if you're ever in the area, go try some.

Fried chicken is good for the soul!

I do believe Church's Chicken has the best tasting fried chickens ever. Their biscuits are also very nummy <3. I've heard that fried chicken comes best served with a slice of watermelon. A'yo, gotta have my melons, dawg.

When I first saw this thread I thought it was going to be about black stereotyping. ^^Nah Church's chicken is too greasy for me their biscuits are good, but I prefer my Aunt's the most.

The only fried chicken I've ever had is KFC, and I don't know how different it is from the USA but the shiet here is so greasy it makes me sick. And other than that no where else sells it so :monster: I'll have to wait to visit America before I try it properly

KFC is good. I think it might be the only fried chicken I've had outside of Bird's Eye / Sainsburys Southern Fried Chicken Sticks etc.
