In what way do you get your exercise?

I used to jog a few times week, and it only got me to lose a bit of weight. Then I started working, which totally destroyed my body at first, but then put it into pretty good shape and made me lose 10 pounds in only 3 months.

School also gets me off my feet. Makes me tough, hyunnnnnngggggh! :kaoangry:

Personally... swimming every Monday, Cycling every Saturday, i have pretty intense PE lessons on Tuesdays and Thursays... yeah, i think i exercise a fair bit. I'm still pretty podgey, mind you. I'm working on it.

I used to walk home from school a few times a week. Also, at work the slicer helps us women develop manly arms.

I go to gym, conveniently located on the way to/from work, when I don't have computer classes, or am hanging out with my friends. I even do yoga on Thursdays, to try and strengthen my muscles and improve my posture.

I should go more at the weekend... :eep:

Hahaha, I keed. Actually, the only real exercise I get is when I walk from car to building, or around school, etc. o_o; I don't exercise much at all. My metabolism's crazy, so it's not like I have weight issues (rather, I'm underweight), and I take Band in school so I don't have PE classes.

I do some pilates-like stuff, but that's it. I've tried lifting weights multiple times and it's excruciatingly boring to me. I sit there lifting these heavy things trying not to think about how absolutely bored I am and it makes me want to smack myself with an ice pick and GAWD. Anyway, I'd rather just remain a stick for the rest of my life than do hardcore workouts.

I go swimming 2 or 3 times a week at the gym. I walk my dog, and rarely play squash with my boyfriend. :jess:

I'm very lucky that i have a forest near my house so i go there almost everyday in the afternoon and jog for an hour and a half while listening to my mp3's.Feels great!

I mostly bike but as soon as I have my first paycheck I'll be able to play intermural volleyball
and grab a membership at the school gym.

In the summer I love to swim.

Weight lifting once a week and then aerobic jogging or elliptical machine( I like that thing) every day for about an hour. Joined Work Out World because the old gym I went to for years had mold in it I think.

My boyfriend and I have a pact where we each have to run at least a mile a week. But ever since school started, I've been slacking.

I do however bike to/from school and to/from classes. It's not much, but my classes are on the opposite ends of the campus, so it's decent exercise.

I walk or bike lots every day to and from classes/extracirriculars.

I'm taking martial arts (Chinese boxing atm), Javanese dance, and African dance as official classes. I also take zumba (a latin workout dance type thing) and hip hop classes on the side at my gym~ And I'm in the bellydancing club. ^_^ I do weight lifting 3 times a week, but this week I only went once due to soreness/no time. Next week I'll be hardcore to make up for it. x]

Oh, I've also just joined the outing club and we do stuff like canoeing or kayaking which is an amazing good workout on your arms.

i skateboard and snowboard that gets me good exercise. im also quite the hick i chop wood and go hiking a lot.

My exercise is pretty much entirely just walking to and from class, and my karate class that really isn't all that intense. As a result, I am currently in a state of burning solely the calories that I take in, but I do nothing to burn off the fat that I have or convert it to muscle. It's pretty stagnant.

I try to bike from time to time and I guess my job is also pretty physical. Other than that I don't really exercise.. at all!

I'd like to go jogging, though... but I'm just way too lazy.

I really need to start getting $ so I can buy more weights. I've outgrown my barbell and so I stopped exercising -- it's like not worth it.

I do crunches and pressups if the fancy takes me, but seeing as no amount of such seems to make me buff, I've kinda given up on that front.

I walk pretty regularly though, because my college is about 2 1/2 miles from my house, so that's at least 5 miles a day three days a week (This year. Last year was 4 days a week.)
