People seem to be asking about this quite often, thus this tutorial. (It'd be cool if somebody stickey'd it)

As we all know, Chrono Cross never came out on the PAL systems. There's a very simple way of overcoming this problem though:

Get a copy of Chrono Cross
Make an .ISO image of the CD. Most burning tools can do it, I recommend Alcohol 120% though
Download the patch from either of the following links:
Directory: Console Gaming World - PSX Patches - C (http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_patches_c.shtml)
Mirror A: Console GamingWorld - Downloading (http://www.megagames.com/console/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?id=psx&file=chrono_cross_n2p!zip)
Mirror B: Console GamingWorld - Downloading (http://www.megagames.com/console/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?id=psx&file=wiz_cc_n2p!zip)
Mirror C: Console GamingWorld - Downloading (http://www.megagames.com/console/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?id=psx&file=cc_ntsc2pal!zip)
Run the patch over the .ISO file
Burn the .ISO file on a CD
Play the game

You might run into problem with your PS1 unless it is modded to run "security copies". Mine worked just as fine without the chip though.

I hope this helps and have fun if it does!

Or use BOOT CD.
