Basically. Theres a game called Frets on Fire, i dont know how long its been out, but its just like guitar hero, minus all the graphical things. Its pretty fun looking, and you can upload music. Do any of you know about it/play it?

Apparently it's not terribly advanced as far as actually making songs is concerned.

all you have to do is play is play a song in the editor and press where you want the notes to be

However, it only goes up 1/3 of a beat. Freetar is better, allowing you to place notes up to 1/37th of a second, but still not reliable enough for some songs. Frets of Fire's generator is generally regarded to be pretty terrible.

FOF's been out for a good year, at least. I know I was miffed when it came out, because about a year prior, I totally had the idea of using the keyboard for a guitar simulator. They stole my idea! And Harmonix's!

PC gamer was talking about how there should be an accordion one for the PC. Mainly they were getting a that games ported to PC usually get jipped and end up sucking.
