Just wondering.
I know the extra slots are useless thanks to No Encounters, but I'd still like to know.
I've got weapons with a total of both two and three slots, so could he drop four-slotters as well?

Just because he can drop 2Os and 3Os does not mean that he can drop 4Os items. It doesn't work like that.
Never seen one, though. There's far more reliable ways to get 4Os items.

Geosegano is able to drop No Encounter Weapons.
Also, most of the Celestials deal damage based on HP, which more or less ignores defense.

I'd just like to point out that the extra slots aren't entirely useless just because of NoEnc. If you're in a forced battle (not a random one and therefore NoEnc has no way to prevent it) and forget to change your weapon, the extra slot may be useful to you...

well you could always switch weapons or characters, and forced battles dont happen often. why upgrade a weapon with a no encounter ability on it when you can start with a fresh one. its pointless. no encounter weapons and armor are used so there will be no encounters and thats it.
And peter, you can get random 4-slot weapons from other monsters with ease or kill one-eye for random 4-slot weapons with a triple-AP abilty already attached. or you can kill two mimics(one if u have gillionare) and buy from wantz. Dont waste your time trying to kill that Bony gigantic tuna over and over again.

lol, well what I'm trying to achieve is getting a four-slotted weapon which actually includes No Encounters, because normally you can't Customize that ability to a weapon.

My point is that if you forget you're using a NoEnc weapon and go into one of the few forced battles then you'd have a better chance (or, rather oddly, have the NoEnc on a character not in the party and switch them in, forgetting what their weapon is). I'm not saying you should upgrade it, but as we've seen in XII with nethicite and people wondering why they're silenced, people can sometimes forget what they've got equiped. If you're prone to sillyness like that, then it's always worth, if you have a few spare items, just sticking something on it.

Why would you do that? It sort of defeats the purpose of having a weapon in the first place. I've also not seen Geosageno ever drop an armor with four total slots, so it's not very likely that you would get one.

celestials base damage from either HP or MP depending on the character. being able to costumize your own weapons/armors enables you to make several equipments that can enable you to adapt at different situations.....
but i stick to the celestials coz i'm too lazy to switch weapons

And of course this includes having four slots on every possible weapon. :p
I swear, if I could equip HP Stroll and MP Stroll on a three-slotted No Encounters weapon, I would do it.
I even created lots of weapons that focused on different Abilities on an older file:
I had weapons with Str+20/Str+10/Str+5/Str+3 Abilities (in that order!), and a similar one for Mag+X Abilities.
And of course I had a PoisonStrike/DarkStrike/SilenceStrike/CurseStrike weapon for all characters as well.

Yeah, I customized my No Encounter-armour with HP Stroll. Just about the only thing useful for it.
