Lets say that Science has advanced to where a Guy could get a sex change and get pregnant.

IF he were to donate his sperm, and then insiminate himself after the sex change with said sperm, could he get pregnant? What woudl be yoru thoughts if he could?

Hmm...He probably could...for say...if that change was ever possible...but all of his recessive traits would be doubled so double the chances of the baby coming out with problems...same as the results of an incest baby. Odd thoughts though...odd indeed.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible from my entirely unscientific point of view. Naturally having only one set of genes would cause the baby to be more susceptible to disease and the whatnot and have only the traits from the man and his ancestors. Returning to my entirely unscientific point of view, it would be heresy, so we'd have to burn the man as a witch.

Heath the Heathen! Burn her -- er, him... her... it! Burn it!

Seriously, ew. I hope this is never possible in my lifetime.

I don't know but it would be hilarious if he was white and the baby came out black.

how did you think of this

Genetic deformities would occur...

Edit: In the baby obviously.

My thoughts would be kinda like when I see Mr. Bean waving his ears.

"How the fuck did he do that?"

It would invoke much hilarity when the kid asks where he came from. 'Well son, when myself and I love each other very much...'

I have to confirm this -- but I am going to say that one's sex (not gender WTF) cannot be changed because the development of the body, if allowed to grow to maturity, is 'hard coded' in the genes. You can pump a male full of estrogen and etc, but it would just result in a chemically imbalanced male.

I can't even imagine how you can synthetically force a male to have a uterus, but you can (I guess) implant one. However I don't think it will be functional, and furthermore I think the body will reject it regardless.

HOWEVER if we pretended that it would be possible, the result would be either a very close genetic copy to the parent or just a close genetic variation of the 'male's' family gene pool.

Good question. I volunteer to test this out!

Yeah, I don't think you could get a male to have a functional uterus o_o And ovaries. And all that good stuff.

The Catholic Church would be angry.

You would not like the Catholic Church when it is angry.

How would a man produce an egg without changing his physiology at the molecular level?

Theoretically he/she could get pregnant, but I would feel really bad for that poor kid.
