Rye can be a terrible girl sometimes. She has violent thoughts when she sees people dress up their little dogs in obnoxious clothes and keep them in their knock off Louie V purses, thinking that they're rich socialites, meanwhile they bought that dog garb from TJ Maxx, which automatically means that you are not rich, at all. If I had the power of laser eye vision, I'd zap the people who created obnoxious dog couture.

Now okay, a little coat for your dog in the cold weather is understandable, because little dogs get cold, but they go too far. ;; Your doggy is not a build-a-bear. He is not Senior Kissy-Face. Treat him with decency, babyyyyy, that's all I'm asking babyyy, woo-oooooh~ That is all! Good day! :kaoangry:

i thought it was TK Maxx
and yeah, it really annoys me when people dress their pets up in stupid clothes (considering I think having pets is stupid improves this xD)
I say we should dress the owners up in that garb...starting with Rye

Yeah. All my dog has is a collar and he only has that on when he is going walkies! :jess:

I once put a Newcastle shirt on him but that was for a photo opportunity only. xD

I think if a dog should wear a coat, it may as well be a nice - looking coat, and a cute tshirt sometimes is nice at christmas on a wee dog, as long as it doesn't irritate them.

Senior Kissy Face sounds like a pekinese, methinks.

And Vader dog - I feel your pain.

Dogs wearing clothes neither looks cool nor makes sense.

Tiki loves dress up. She wags her tail and gives me kisses when I put bows in her hair, too.

You people are strange.

Senior Kissy-Face is Frenchie's Spanish pen pal, sir scrumple. :]

Okay, I'll admit, that outfit is cute. But when people start giving the dogs hats and necklasses and Prada booties and crap. D:

I hate small dogs. It's bad enough that dogs are ruined for socialising with wolves, you don't have to breed a bunch of otherwise useless animals. The reason I like dogs is that they are capable of doing things like get thrown around and treated like wrestling partners. A chihuahua or whatever is none of the cool things of a dog and all of the mess.

Small sogs make awesome companions. A dog is a dog. Small ones can just get washed in the sink.

Dog clothes are wrong. It doesn't look cute or cool, and it's not useful.

THAT'S WHAT THEIR FUR IS FOR, PILLOCKS. It makes my ears bleed.

Small dogs are amazing. If I got bigger dogs they'd just over power me. But, dog clothes are stupid because their fur already covers them and I'm pretty sure some of them don't want to be wearing a tutu.

I freakin' hate those little rat dogs that people dress up and stick in their purses. My god, they're ugly little creatures, made uglier by those getups.

Del Murder says that we're never gonna dress up our doggie. I agree except.... c'mon dressing up a puppy as a hot dog for Halloween would be sooo cute. :D

I really, really love doggies, and some of you scare me. =O

Not all dogs have long fur; some have hair (Shih Tzus); some are not tolerant of cold temperatures; large dogs require as much as or possibly more care and monitoring than small dogs (unless you don't properly care for them); some clothes are cute; all dogs are cute; some dogs love the attention they get when dressed up; and I agree that dogs are not fashion accessories.

I don't like dogs in clothes, but I also don't like dogs without clothes. As long as they're nowhere near me, I don't care what they wear.

Stuff like this from time to time - just for fun - I think is perfectly acceptable. Vader dog is horrific.

I feel bad when I see dogs in clothes. I keep wondering if they like it, dislike it, or it irritates them. The website with the hats... has dogs in dresses... and overalls... that can't be good.

I don't mind dog carriers as long as they're secure. It doesn't have to be a brand name  just something to transport your dog in if you need to. If I got a dog, people would not let me have him/her sit on their carseat, so a carrier would be neccessary.

This reminds me of when my friend freaked out the other day becuase someone had their sprinkler on and the water would all to the ground. he complains saying, "... they should just shift there sprinklers over just a little bit to not annoy pedestrians." We all though he was being stubid and that it didn't mater becuase it was raining.:(

I know a girl that bought an insanely expensive louis viton purse when we were in london. I think it was LV. It was expensive!

Like, if it were that much in dollars as it was pounds, it would still be expensive!
(£4=$4 for example)

Dude. My best friend just bought a LV bag for $1200. Yikes! I think I actually felt physical pain when she told me about it.

I agree whole-heartedly with the first post. I think that the animals get nothing out of it but annoyance, and pampering pets isn't good for either the owner or dog's self-esteem and socializing. Besides, some idiot is out there making millions out of "humanizing" pets while their colleagues kill other species for money. And lastly, this humanizing is not a good mentality, because good dogs need some discipline, not bribes, or being on an equal level of their human owners.

My sister has a short haired Chihuahua, and it would freeze without its sweater during the winter. Clothes for dogs can be practical! And as fr cost, her boyfriend knits the sweaters himself.:)

I'm with Rye on this one. Dogs should not be dressed up as fashion-objects. I'll make an exception for those dogs that like it - ie, they try to dress themselves up if they can - but otherwise, no! No no no! It's terrible. Almost as bad as buying insanely expensive fashion label clothing for a baby. Why?!

Dogs are naturally nude all the time.. I don't really think they care for clothes that much.

Eei when I was in Appleton this weekend and it was rainy and I was on the bus about to leave, I saw this old couple with a doggy that looked just like Marshall Banana's, and it was wearing a raincoat! XD

I have to admit, it was pretty cute
