I just got it this afternoon during a lull between super busy times so these are just all really really quick shots, so there's nothing super cool here xD

The best thing about an slr is the insanely shallow FOD you can get, so of course I tried to take some that showed this off (for myself xD)

Someone's pen is very sad at being left in the cold wet grass

We have trash cans (rubbish bins) for a reason. Don't litter!

I think this one captures the feeling of Fall at University very well.

[edit- oh yeah!

it's a nikon d40 (with a stuck pixel in the lcd screen>:[ luckily that doesn't affect the pictures or the composition any!) and uh, I don't know what else to say? xD I am going to read the user's manual to find out about the manual focusing because it was not working well for me, so these were mostly all shot with auto focus on (except the last one, which was actually shot before!) but I did the aperture and shutter speeds myself! xD It's been so long since I took pictures that I about forgot how to do all that stuff)

here's a bonus picture of Hsu for looking!

I didn't realize last night that I had the iso set to like 1600, but it didn't hurt these too bad xD

My friend has one of them, they're very good. I opted for the Canon 400D, which I love. Although I don't think I know how to use it properly.

Oh and ISO is the devil.
