We can have bigger avatars now! See the announcement (http://forums.eyesonff.com/general-chat/announcements.html) for more details.

Do you plan to take advantage of this privilege? Do you think the avatars should be allowed to be even larger (Correct answer: no.)? Will this new privilege cause you to change your avatar immediately in order to use some new avatar you've been saving for the last six and a half years for this exact time, or will you just take note of it the next time you change your avatar?

This thread is open to any and all conversation and opinions about the new avatar size privileges, basically.

What I love the most is the conflicting information in the announcements... if you read from where hero announced the return of the staff feedback form first Loony BoB says the 66x66 pixel avatars have been removed then Yams says they're in for everyone. Which one is it? Who do I have to kill? Why is it Levian tells me he is my father?

They are still 60x60, 4KB I think. BoB's announcement came after Yams'. There's a thread about it in Feedback. :choc2:

I turned my avatars off recently because the increasing number of large avatars made me intensely angry.

I destroyed a coffee cup because of it.

It's not my fault :whimper:

Don't say I never did anything for you guys. It's usually some wet blanket like BoB or Leeza stomping out all our fun.

ARGH, I'M SUFFOCATING HERE!

It's how you use it that counts.

In that case, I might as well not have one

Hmm, I don't know.. Maybe? Right now I'm pretty satisfied with the old avatar size, but who knows.. maybe I'll change my mind some day.

Ariel looks better in an avatar that's 100 x 100.

Yeah I don't think I could handle change, especially changing my avatar, that'd be the sign of the end of the world (as we know it).

If they wanted to save space then I'd gladly get rid of signatures. In fact how about we try a little experiment for a few days?

I support this btw, it will create drama which is more or less lulz.

We took it away because people were abusing it in the short time it was available.

How do you abuse six extra pixels of width and height? :p Surely it's just because people were bitching. Doesn't matter to me either way, it just seemed weird that you would so quickly enact and then withdraw something.

People citing "tradition" where there was none.
