A la 'Click'. Actually if I did I would probably noob it up and not get a good job in the future cuz I'd just afk through the afternoons.

If you had a remote that only had the functions of a vcr or dvd (no universal remote like the movie), what would you do?

I'd abuse the 'pause' button, but typically for non-malevolent reasons. Believe it or not.

I'd also fast forward through the work day whenever I decide to work. Maybe I'd just pause, acquire 'financial independence' and then retire. Yay!

Ahh, stupid pipe dreams. OOC: I hate how the lottery effects the poor.

I would fast-forward to December, so I can be in California sooner. Once I'm there, I'll press the rewind button every few weeks, so I don't have to come back to Kentucky.

the ability to skip past fight and arguments.
and the angle feature. see the hot chick walking by hit angle and she walks back :D

There is a "turbo" button on one of the remotes here. I asked my girlfriend what would happen if I pointed it at her in the hopes of it performing whatever function "turbo" is...

I was only given a scowl.

oh hell yeah, pause. some FF perhaps, definitely rewind. volume control on specific people.

I could make it look like I'm working extremely fast at work.

The help button would be useful. The mute button too mostly for my sister who never stops talking until she gets drugged, or knocked out.

Pause button. So I can slack off and play videogames as much as I want and pause and get my studying and papers done. Gotta have priorities. Never fastfoward though. I'm running outta time going normal speed. Never rewind either, I wouldn't be me if I changed anything. I might play with Volume though.

does repeat count? rewinding takes too much time. i could waste more time fast forwarding to a fate i don't like and i really don't know what to do with pause.

Fast forward through all the boring parts, viva la fun parts over and over again ^_^ A pause button would be awesome... Hiro from Heroes! I'd abuse that so much.

Subtitles. That'd stop people whispering or making snide comments behind people's backs when it comes up in giant white letters in front of them.

I'd check the manufacturers copyright for the OSD and make sure it's not infringing on any known patents.

I've seen bad subtitling before and can totally picture it saying, "Whispering." And at the top, "NOTE: She is whispering, 'That girl in 2nd period has a big butt'"

I agree with everything Omni Legacy said, only he forgot something. Not only would I stick to puase and (possibly) volume, but channels. I'm bored. *changes channel* Imagine the possibilities! Work? *changes channel* FIESTA!
