Howdy folks, I haven't posted here in a while, much less started a topic but I was playing FFVI on the GBA and simply had to point this out.
We all know there are changes in this version, many of which apply to the script and dialogue. I've played through this game many-a-time over the past 14 odd years and one person who always got an unfair amount of remembrance from me was the Empire soldier on the toilet before the banquet scene. In older versions (the PS1 version at least) he says “I oppose peace” and attacks. Funny since he must have been truly angry for both your opposite alignment and the bathroom intrusion.
In the GBA version he says “Poo on peace!” And THAT folks is the BEST script change on Earth. It’s amazing. I can’t get over it and thought it deserved its own topic. I simply can’t believe the other versions didn’t seem to think it was important to note the fact that the guy was in the bathroom and still wanted to brawl.
Sorry for making a topic about this!
