Apparently my PS2 has decided not to read movies anymore. The story goes that today my roommate was watching some movies on my PS2 while they were removing the ceiling from my bathroom. There was dust everywhere. After she stopped watching then and returned later to watch some more, the PS2 would not read the disc. When I came home, I she told me about it and so I thought it was the dust even though she had not open the disc tray while they were demolishing the bathroom ceiling. So I try several discs with no luck. Then I try a few games. It reads the games no problem. So does anyone have an idea what's going on and any possible remedies for it? It is slightly annoying having it not able to read DVDs.
