So I was laying in my sleeping bag wide awake at the ungodly hour of eight in the morning wondering why I had to be cursed. So cursed as to only sleep a few hours and then be ready to go forever, which was exactly why I happened to be up all night. With nothing else to do, I put the sleeping bag over my head so everything was completely dark and began to let my mind wander. It went this way and that which eventually led me to start thinking about boxes and all the things I can remember doing with boxes before. Probably because I started thinking about EOFF, which made me think about masticating, which made me think of both Calvin and Hobbes and Del Murder at once. Anyway, boxes were on my mind. I remembered being just a little guy with great big refridgerator and washing machine boxes that I built a fort with outside. I played with that for a whole week until it rained and turned everything into goo. I remembered being in elementary school and using boxes to build clubhouses and castles for me to play around. Also turning them upside down and banging on them like drums. Heck, I even remembered being seventeen and building a box jailhouse with this girl Cory complete with heart-shapped handcuff accessories. Beyond that I remembered a dream I had where I was standing in the middle of my room holding a box about the size of a gamecube when liquid melting cheese began flowing out of it and flooding my room. There's a post about that last dream floating around somewhere in the haunted pasts of this General Chat. Now I don't have much use for boxes. I want you to talk about boxes. I want you to talk about boxes now.

That box had it coming for what it did to me.

I am attracted to big cardboard boxes. When I see one, I still think about how big a playing house it could make.

Take care of a box and it'll take care of you.

NB: The story of how two brothers (and five other men) parlayed a small
business loan into a thriving paper-goods concern is a long and
interesting one. And, here it is: it all began with the filing of form
637/A, the application for a small business or farm...

Guide: Many interesting and important things have been put into boxes over the years: textiles, other boxes, even children's candy.
Milhouse: Do any of these boxes have candy in them?
Guide: No.
Milhouse: Will they ever?
Guide: No, we only make boxes to ship nails. Any other questions?
Martin: When will we be able to see a finished box, Sir?
Guide: Well, we don't assemble them here -- that's done in Flint, Michigan.
Bart: Have any of the workers ever had their hands cut off by the machinery?
Guide: No --
Bart: And then the hand started crawling around and tried to strangle everybody?
Guide: No, that has never happened.
Bart: Any popped eyeballs?
Guide: I'm not sure what kind of factory you're thinking of; we just make boxes here.

This thread simply reminds me of mlp. Sadly, all his box posts are gone now. :(

Put your hand in a box and you may discover whether you are human or animal

The Rugrats played in boxes in one episode.

So did Spongebob.

Calvin and Hobbes is awesome. I named the stray cat I took in Hobbes. I've read all the books numerous times, great bathroom material. Read Lazy Sunday Book recently.

I just love it. The drawings, the humor, the sweetness and zaniness.
