This thread is to see what everyone thinks, or prefers, Quina to be. A boy or a girl? Or an 'it' if you like.

I think Quina's a dude myself. Which means, in my opinion, everyone who wants to 'do' Quina in the "Quina is sexy" thread is strange and warped.

Well I know they say he/she alot but there are many times in the game where Zidane or other characters do say 'he' but not 'she' so I'd say a guy.

Wow, that might actually be what square was going for. I never thought of it like that. But, just because Zidane protects Quina, it doesn't mean that Quina's a girl. Maybe the game creator thought it would add to the mystery if every once in a while they tricked you with calling 'it' a he and protecting 'it' when 'it's' HP was low. I suppose it doesn't really matter though, everyone is going to think what they want about Quina no matter what evidence is brought up.

I agree with this, but I also tend to lean towards the idea they have no gender. Quina strikes me as being very feminine though.

Well, with it being described as s/he, I thought it was an "it". Zidane refers to Quina as "he" sometimes, but I still think that it's either bisexual or asexual.

Mainly I've pictured Quina with a deepish kind of raspy voice, like Edwardo from Foster's Home, or Grover from Sesame Street.

Also, I think Quina has wondered what s/he is. Maybe all s/he needs to know is that s/he's a Qu and that's all the info s/he needs.

Or maybe s/he eats so much because s/he's long since given up hope to find another s/he to settle down with.

Or maybe Qu's have genders but Quina's an anomaly, or freak of nature, and has no discernable gender and that's why s/he was such an outcast in the Marshes.

Oooor maaaybeee Qu's have the power to determine their own sex and Quina doesn't know what s/he wants to be.
