For those who don't know, this is for this. (http://forums.eyesonff.com/general-chat/110380-return-world-eizon.html)

All right, so BoB proved unable to provide us a map, and now that I'm not stuck in a frenzy of ultra-reporting the time has come for me to find someone who can.

The rules are fairly simple, everyone submits a map to my specifications, and the coordinators will pick the one we want to go with. The person who's map is chosen will get extra cash towards building a country, and some runners up will likely get some as well and may be called upon to help make maps in the future.

So the specifications are as follows:

The map is going to be based off real world geography and climate, so you have a good reference to go off. The area in the map should encompass the area around Europe, dipping into Russia, the middle east and what was once the Roman Empire, down to about Egypt. Feel free to make the landmass to your specifications, however, the map should not end with only islands. In many areas, the map should look like it just continues on, even though there's no land drawn beyond the border.

This is an important aspect, as part of the game will later involve exploration. As more players come in, more countries will be "discovered" as countries grow in might and expand their boundaries outward.

Although the geography, climate, and landscape should be based around the basic workings of earth, you are well within your rights to have strange climates or geography in some areas. This is a high magic setting, the appropriate answer to the question "why is there a swamp of fiery doom in the middle of Russia" is "a wizard did it."

Once we have a map, we'll be able to start the game. So, gogogo.
