You people need to come to London, it's a zillion times better than Manchester. Also, I can't afford to travel to Manchester.

Raebus

£300 phone bill.
Why/How do you people do this to yourselves? I mean, there are loads of deals out there that allow you to call pretty much anywhere cheap. I don't understand you people!

Peegee

Since you're asking for a meet on a work day, even if I were in the UK I couldn't meet you (well maybe I could at night). Couldn't you like, meet on the 1st of Dec?

26th is a bad time for students especially, exam / coursework period. I've about 4 to hand in myself.

If you guys need cheap way to voice chat (it amounts to that), try using Yahoo! Messenger or ...doesn't MSN also have it? I remember using it a while ago, before the age of ventrilo. Just a suggestion.

that's a pretty big pond for me to swim across. maybe, if I train a lot on stamina and swimming skill in the next two and a half weeks, then I might show up. otherwise, I wouldn't expect me.

Hey Loki, you wanna maybe arrange a meet up for after Xmas? And I GUESS Ruth can help out...if she wants *kicks floor* we should get a talking about it ^^ Maybe a northern meet up? I'm living in Lincoln now and it's next to impossible to get anywhere by train easy...soooo somewhere nice and big and in the middle of England ^^. Nottingham is big and easy to get to. How about there? Although it's a bit of a poo hole...

yeah this is true...

You know there's a new MASSIVE shopping centre that's opened up in Derby. I know Derby kinda sucks but this place is HUGE! Meant to be the same size as the Bullring in Brum. Maybe we could meet there? Every train in the UK goes to Derby ^^ (well, pretty much :p)

Mine doesn't. :( Unless you're expecting me to traverse through Crewe train station which, while not terribly difficult, may involve me ending up in Dundee rather than Derby.

Poopie. Well the problem with a meet up is that where ever it's held, some people won't be able to travel. I think the most successful meet ups have been in Birmingham and Manchester. So, if there's ever a meet up after Xmas, I reckon it'll be there ^^
I really want to be at the next meet up! I've missed so many ;___;

Ouch!
11-15-2007, 02:33 AM
There seriously needs to be a meet-up that I can actually attend, which would mean something in the vicinity of Chicago during holidays/the summer or Miami any other time. I think there was a Chicago meet-up that I missed a while back. Oh well.

Raebus

TALK ABOUT THIS MEET UP PLZ.

Jimsour

You'll only get shot in Manchester if your dealing heroin. Vast majority of people who go to Manchester for the day dont end up in the middle of Moss side. I feel safer walking through there than Oxford road, no one tries anything but Oxford road is dangerious because of all the naive students making themselves a target for being raped or mugged.

City Centre is certainly the most accessible part of Manchester. Piccadilly Station is big, easy to find and I imagine most of us would be arriving there.

Baloki

Usual meeting place is in front of the departure boards in the main concourse :)

Party at Jimsour's.

The station itself is easy enough to navigate. You pretty much just carry on walking forward until you reach a big glass window where you can see trains. I assume that's where Baloki meant to meet.

Have we even picked a day yet?
