I can't find Penance

EDITGA: Yeah I've caught 10 of every fiend and beaten everything in the arena and then some, but no Nemesis.

(this thread was originally about Penance but it's ok I've unlocked it now. Figured I should kill Nemesis first eh)

If you're playing NTSC or NTSC-J, then I shouldn't have to tell you what comes next.

Otherwise, there should be a cutscene and an option to fight it (just like Sin) in the Airship.

EDIT: Turns out I never beat Yojimbo, you have to beat him 5 times?! I can't find the 5th round anywhere in the cave it's driving me crazy
When you leave the cave after defeating Yojimbo he appears where you first encounter him, and the amount of times you have to defeat him is reset back to 5 (The 5th time around he is hiding in a room IIRC and you can walk straight out the cave before encountering him, which is why alot of people miss the 5th round).

If you don't have all the equipment you ultimately want, take advantage of this (Defeat Yojimbo, get Ribbon/x3slot equipment return to ship, rinse and repeat) because getting Ribbons afterwards is incredibly tedious.

Well yeah... And for the Penance. That thingy is where you encounter that umm... ...guardian monster... ... right after you exit the cave before Zanarkand ruins.

the summoner is hiding at the east room. when you get to the 1st crossing turn east first.that way it would be easier, making it 3rd round instead of 5th. and your right about taking advantage on him. you should, he gives out 2 dark matters for overkill most of the times, plus some good equips. (curseproof/ribbon, BHL).

Have you killed the Original Creations?

Go through all the Species conquest, Original and Area conquest creations again, he will show up eventually.

Well no I haven't beaten Penance, I'm nowhere near ready for it yet lol.

I was surprised how easy Magus Sisters were actually.

Anyway yeah guess I just kill :skull::skull::skull::skull: till it appears. *sigh*
