What do you think of them? Me? I'm thinking of bunging Psy some more Furry Artwork to get him to delete some of mine.

I don't really care about them, to be honest. I wouldn't mind if they disappeared altogether because now that I think about it, the moment the number of posts in the forums started decreasing is also around the time that usernotes came about... :(

EDIT: It turns out this is a filthy lie, they started in 2004 and the posts per day decrease came about in 2006. But I still prefer PMs and posts to usernotes.

I thought the question was Usernotes, not ASL... xD

They're okay, they can be amusing at times ^_^

Usernotes are not easy to get to and I always forget to check them. I could care less if they were obliterated.

I prefer these, too. I used to post usernotes quite a lot but I hardly ever do now. :jess:

My last usernote was someone saying they always skip over my name when I post on the forums...

Despite that I like usernotes quite frankly.

I don't mind em. It's not a big part of my EoFF time but they can be fun.

Advertising is wrong. (http://forums.eyesonff.com/usernote.php?do=newnote&u=18128)

I'd say about a third of my usernotes are from Psy, and I love every one. I miss the good ol' days when me and Rantz used to chat about things. :(

But I agree with Spoony BarD and Jess, and prefer PMs to usernotes.

Like others I also prefer PMs over User notes, but that said I still really like to get user notes. It's nice :)

I love them! I check whether I got knew ones each time I come here, Please keep them. I don't think they've declined in posting, if anything they've had the oposite affect on me.

I rarely ever get usernotes actually... there's the odd banter from Psy and Rengori (and it's quite rare) and comments about how awesome my newest anti-Black Mage signature is, but that's it.

I used to check and reply to my user notes constantly. I haven't even thought about them in months, though.

I'll be honest I only made this thread because I knew it'd be as popular as my last one which got stolen by the dirty Shin-ra ;_;

I wasn't active when they first appeared so I never got into them.

Got fed up of feeling obligated to reply to usernotes, so I act as if they don't exist.

Given that I'd much prefer to have conversations in real time, I much prefer instant messaging to either usernotes or PMs (although I prefer PMs over usernotes). Either way, I don't get too many of them, and I think I've only ever given one other member a usernote in my entire time here (and I think it was to give him some much deserved grief).

I'm selfish in that I like receiving usernotes but I rarely post them myself, except in response to ones people have left me. If I wanted to speak to someone personally, I'll find them on IRC or MSN or something instead.

I've never really gotten into user notes. I mean sure I've given out one or two here and there, but they're not really my bag.

I use this same joke every user note thread and it never gets old.

Yes, me too. Alive-Man once told me that they were another form of communication on the forum, and by that logic I decided to be diligent in that communication. So yes, I like them.

It's always nice to see a new usernote, so I like them. Also, I rarely ever use PMs, so their a handy way to communicat with other members impersonally.

I adore every single one of my usernotes because I rarely get them. When I do it's like a monumental event and I get all excited. People rarely disappointment in my usernotes.

It's nice to just leave people odd little notes sometimes :p

I don't use them for conversation, though.
