What's your favourite game to play in multiplayer mode?

Out of non-MMOs, I guess: Starcraft/Warcraft3 or Battlefield 2.

I know it sounds lame but I like games like Tekken and Virtua Fighter when it comes to multiplayer. Im not much for 32 player online carnage.

TF2, DOD:Source, Natural Selection, and Starcraft.

Fighting Games, mostly. I also like Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles when it comes to multiplayer, but alas, I can't exactly find anyone to play it with besides my brother, whom has gone to college. :/

Any co-op game, like Splinter Cell, where the other players don't take it too serious. Me and my friend play Bob and Steve! I do get serious when I go multiplayer in Tales of the Abyss (I have too, I play as Natalia).

And fighting games too. Soul Calibur 3 (Sophitia or Celsius) or Budakai Tenkaichi 3 (Trunks or Videl) or Ultimate Ninja 2 (Hinata or Temari) I play mostly.

GB, Halo 3 right now, stuff like that and timesplitters and whatever, fighting games like Tekken too. Also games like Mashed are awesome when you have 4 people playing at once (especially if one is a drunken Loony BoB whose vocabulary has degenerated to nothing but "YEEAAAAAAAAAH" and "FUCKING COCK")

Also, Mario Party is god

Soul Calibur 3 (Sophitia or Celsius)

Who? xP

Smash Bros. Melee is the best multiplayer game ever. I'm a big fan of Zelda: Four Sword Adventures because, well, it's multiplayer Zelda which is autowin.

Thirteen-year-old Monda would choose Mario Kart 64 for sure.

Mario Kart series! And I like playing fighting games. Oh I used to have heaps of fun playing multiplayer Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 on PSX.

Um... I don't play many online games. But I do like MMO's -- mainly FFXI and WoW, looking forward to Aion!

The Halo series, Fighting games (mostly Soul Calibur, Soul Blade or Tekken 3), Mario kart 64 and the Tony Hawks series.

Also Gunz even with its stupid name kicks ass.

I love the GW Multiplayer!

But mostly only with Guildies and people who can access HM (you can expect they will stay...)...

So I guess it doesnt really count...

Ragnarok Battle Offline :]

Soul Calibur III (my friends and I have characters based on ourselves, it's really rather lame/awesome) and Worms World Party are the life of any party involving games around here.

Donkey Konga was epic, I always used to win. I don't play multiplayers much anymore, but when I was little(er) I used to adore Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Super Smash Bros, Conkers Bad Fur Day and Mario Kart.

I remember my older brother laughing when I beat him and all of his friends at super smash bros. I was like 9, they were all so embarrased xD

Command & Conquer: RA2 & Generals (&ZH) most of all of the series.

Playing FFIX right now with someone, it's fun because I can just make someone else do the dungeon crawling instead of me!

Everyone loves the Wii sports

I guess AoEII, Goldeneye, Smash Bros. & Melee, Mariokart, Counter-Strike...

At the moment CounterStrike: Source, Team Fortress 2 (most hectic game I've ever played), every now and again Metroid Prime: Hunters and thats about it.

I used to play all the great N64 multiplayer games, still do when I gather with friends. Conker, Mariokart, Diddy Kong racing, Mario Party's, Goldeneye, Episode 1 racer and the game I'm absolutely UNBEATABLE at, Super Smash Bros. Oh and I used to be like 30 something in the world at AoM.

Original or bust.

Personally I think BFD's multiplayer is one of the most under appreciated things ever (probably having to do with the game's release late in the life cycle of the 64). Seriously, that stuff was legit.

Neverwinter Nights. The only RPG that I know off where people actually roleplay.

SSB:M is the game of choice amongst my friends and I. Though we also play a fair bit of Halo 3 and Timesplitters 2. Back in the day it used to be Goldeneye, Perfect Dark or Diddy Kong Racing. Though we still play the latter along with Mario Kart via our Nintendo DS'. I also quite enjoy multiplayer Advance Wars.
