This is a city template I've created that might prove useful for when you wish to either create or edit your existing cities. As far as I can tell, the template is accurate, but being human, I've likely made some mistakes.

If you happen to find any, simply post here or PM me detailing the issue.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

NOTE: I realize that there are many values already present in the spreadsheet; however, these are here so that if the comments are not as useful as I thought them to be, you might be able to see how the values are strung together through example.

Bravo, NE. That's definitely a simple and effective way to get an overall idea of a city.

I found that I had forgotten to include the fishing, caravan routes, planned housing, and police proficiency training fields.

These can now be found in the spreadsheet.

EDIT:

I've revised the spreadsheet so that it's more flexible to how exactly you wish to arm your military forces. I have also cleaned up various parts of the spreadsheet, so that it might be easier to read and understand.

Such a sheet is available in the first post.

Um... I'm not very used to using Excel... How exactly do you change the number of soliders?

To change a value in anything, simply click the cell (the box), and then enter in a number. Armenent costs and whatnot ought to be calculated automatically.

OpenOffice.org: Home (http://www.openoffice.org/)

Also, I'll soon be uploading a revised spreadsheet containing notes on how to enter in everything, for those of whom are confused.

I noticed you've neglected both light cavalry and archers in the garrison area, at least in the regard of calculating the recruitment cost of all soldiers.

EDIT: Also, you double the cost of military training - it's an extra gil per soldier, not 2 gil.

Updated spreadsheet!

Revamped completely in order to be more accurate and comprehensive.
Much more intuitive layout.
More options, including TRUE//FALSE statements.
Comments are given throughout spreadsheet. READ these.

There are only a few instances where you must make the calculations manually (Number of keep walls and their costs, and the research facility technology level advancement costs). All else is automatic - you need only enter in values.
