I have these pants

and they've got some pretty sweet holes in the knees. But they're my favorite pair, and I can't bear the though of throwing them out. Problem is, I have no idea how to patch them, though I'm sure it isn't hard. I also feel that may be out of fashion, or a girly thing to do. But I can't keep the holes. It's going to get to -30 tonight. BRR.

Sure, I like pants. As of right now I have 5 pair of jeans; One dark blue, one light blue, one black and one grey. I also have an older pair that I only use for work. I'm really into pants that are slim all the way down, so no boot cut for me.

uh i pretty much wear whatever i have, for the most part they are "relaxed fit" but the ones i continuously wear have really skinny pockets, which makes for ackward situations since i carry my life in my pockets practically.

I can't help but think that if you were to test this hypothesis in public and ended up in prison, you may end up proving it in much more detail than you bargained for.

I tend to wear jeans most of the time, so if I wear pants I'm usually wearing proper trousers. I quite like wearing proper, suit trousers because I feel big and important. So big and important that I might work for some national chain company like the Job Centre and that I spend all my day behind my desk playing solitaire. If we're on about pants in the other sense, I prefer boxer shorts myself.

How to patch: Get a mother/aunt/grandmother and some fabric squares.
Make the break into a hole and sew the fabric behind (maybe in two sheets for warmth+strength.

(just be sure you do it with the fabric on the inside and also don't use a sewing machine unless you can get it to not sew your jeans shut.

I have a pair I made into hippie jeans after the beltloops gave out. I'm forever hitching my pants out, so I've had like belt loops on four different pairs give way, two of them on the pair I'm currently wearing.
