This challenge had quite a lot of entries but this will be the last one I am organizing! Once Ramza said Sigmaker Challenge didn't attract him anymore and I feel the same... I've tried to add some new things but I miss the old times... When lots of people participated and entries had lots of different styles...

Well I am trying to get one around but when just ONE of the stocks you want to use is a 50MB PSD file with a resolution of nearly 4000x3000 pixels it takes a while to cut out. Another is nearly 2000 by 2000 once I trim it down to the parts I just want and I still have some other stuff I want to cut... plus animate. So err.. yeah I might not make it, but no big deal this is something that I was working on that just happened to coincide with the theme.

Edit- Forgot to mention that there are a lot of things I have to remove/touch-up/redraw on those cuts[shiny things or words that cover the characters]

Looks like my fears were right. There is no way I will make it by the deadline. If it weren't for the killer headache I gained by cutting and redrawing for hours straight I may have gotten it in by 1AM... however, my headache is to the point where I won't be able to finish the final cut[it is already partially done] until the headache goes away. Possibly tomorrow morning.

Though not making it is no big deal for me I do regret that it will lower the total number of participants[which is usually low anyways]. Well look forward for it being finished sometime tomorrow or maybe Christmas depending on how off I am on the times[looks like I get a reason to make a new post in that old thread of mine].

I got critique I would like to give each competetor but due to the silent voting I would rather not post it up until afterwards. Of course if you want to know my critique you can just PM me for it [but for goodness sakes if you are a participent don't give away which is yours!].

Well I added your work because I copy and past the link of all of them... somehow it didn't appear :( I am pretty sure I copied and paste all of them! I recieved 6 pm with 6 banners!

Edit- Nevermind it is showing up now!

I dunno if I am the only one, however, I cannot see the additional banner. Not in Firefox, not after I clear my cache and not even in loading Internet Explorer up from the unused depths of my harddrive.

It may just be some of the odd settings I have set up on my comp/internet but I figured I would mention it just incase others can't see it as well.

Also I have the need to congratulate whoever made number one. That has real nice edges for a Gif file.

You weren't the only one, I couldn't see it as well as it was down. Although there was a server downtime at imageshack, I'm guessing the work was hosted on that server. Well, it's back up and running now :monkey:

Well I have given it a go here and there. However, I have been in a bit of slump lately. So I am really coming up blank. I'll keep trying though. Just a lack of inspiration thus far. And I am one of those people that rely really heavily on inspiration.

Oh I totally forgot to mention but this but if you think you're not GREEAAATTTT in banner or such that's not the important thing here. This challenge is quite different from the others :) If Owen meant smth to you, or if design means a lot to you like it did to Owen you can sign up!:)

I hope there will still be another challenge. I just don't feel comfortable with participating here, the theme is kind of too 'delicate' to me. If I had known him, if I knew anything about him other than that he liked graphic design I would join, but it doesn't feel right to participate now. Maybe I'm just weird thinking that way, but I can't help it... XD
Next time, if there will be one, I'll be in for sure though.

I knew Owen before he started doing sigs, and I don't like this idea very much. Until recently I noticed this challenge... I don't know, I don't like EoFF challenges anymore.

Anyways, I will not participate for the challenge, I will because it's a sig for my friend Owen. I'll do it for this saturday then. And this is the last one here. I hope everyone participates for Owen, not for the challenge or for beating others, but that's just me.
