In my opinion, my favorite bands, most of the progressive rock genre in the 70s, created their music for love of music, which also happened to be their choice of career, not the other way around. I must question that any MTV superstar gives a :skull::skull::skull::skull: about the music he makes at all, since it all sounds so - unemotional and unoriginal. It's all about the image, the look, not the music at all. It's really just a marketing machine.

I'm not sure if you've heard of it, there's this thing called the underground music scene. Look it up, many of the musicians do it for the love of music.

No they don't. They're just either unlucky, or suck too bad to make it big. So they claim the whole indie cred thing by acting like they're not even trying to get record deals. If someone from a major label comes along and offers, they'll sign up pretty quickly.
