..tra-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-laaaa.

..at least that's what the song says. BUT, are you really jolly? - are you getting down with the christmas spirit this year, or is it just not happening for you?

Me? I'm slowly getting there. I'm feeling the spirit and the atmosphere more and more as each day goes by, and I'm positive that it's gonna be a good christmas this year..

EDIT: Oh, mah gawd.. I just noticed the typo in the title.. :eep:

Yes. :P It's good to be with family and friends. Those anti-Christmas folk are shooting themselves in the foot.

I am such a Bill Murray, coz I do not feel the Christmas spirit at all. I only have a lop-sided mouth of indifference. In fact, I just want the whole thing to be over so it can stop being everywhere. I'm one of those people that everyone else hates.

I'm sorry but I don't feel xmassy at all. :( perhaps it's because I'm stuck at home and me and the family don't get along well.

I've been feeling jolly since the first day of December.

Some people don't like my enthusiasm about the holidays though.
I swear some people can really suck! (I mean people like my neighbors)

No. I am not jolly right now in the least. Christmas in my family is like...the opposite of jolliness. It's always a soap-opera drama between my mom, grandma, aunt, and half-aunt, which eventually turns to a bitchfest ('bitch'= verb, not noun in this context). All I really want is for my family to get along for Christmas, but it never happens. I guess that's what happens in dysfunctional families.

It always sneaks up on me! I still can't get used to the lack of snow and I've lived here half my life :exdee:

So with warm weather in December it's usually...OMG WE GET OUT OF SCHOOL NEXT WEDNESDAY? OMG CHRISTMAS!

I'm jolly because exams are over. Otherwise, I'm irritable as always. Otherwise, the thought of spending time with extended family is not exactly the most enticing or encouraging.

I can't wait for the dreaded four days to pass! I live for Christmas!

I'm sick atm. So I'm not feeling the jollyness. I just got out of bed like an hour ago which was like 9pm.

Otherwise, sure. Haven't done my crimmus shopping though. This holiday only excites me cause I get out of school. I really don't ever feel the holiday spirit.

I don't really like Christmas (the holiday). It's just a lame excuse for families to mock each other.

*ooohh, you've grown fatter/thinner/pimples/darker/paler since the last time we met. what happened?*

I'm sorry but I don't feel xmassy at all. :( perhaps it's because I'm stuck at home and me and the family don't get along well.

I'm glad someone feels the same as me. Except in my case a close family friend has recently passed away, and I can't get time off work during Christmas to go home at all. :(

I'm quite enjoying not doing Christmas at all this year. But I would never make the same mistake as Cromwell and ban it for other people! :p

not too much this year wokring too much is kinda putting me on the edge with everyone. i did spend over $600 on presents though and i still got to shop for 3 more people today so even though my mood isnt there i am trying my best for everyone else.

Yea I'm always jolly. The christmas season tests that though. Jerks are everywhere this time of year. I got yelled at for looking at candy for too long D=

No no :P It was a typo.. it was meant to be "jolly".

The Unknown Guru

Nope. I detest Christmas music/specials. They're always the same.

Also, an imaginary fat dude sliding down your chimney doesn't really seem like an occasion to be joyful.
