What are your favorite radio stations?

Mine are just basically Z100 and 92.3 KROCK. The former is for the pop music that I like, and the latter is for the indie and rock. The former also has some funny talk show stuff in the morning, which I listen to on the way to school. I have them preset in my car.

102.7, WEQX when I'm at home (New York's Capital Region). There aren't really any great radio stations when I'm at school (Bethlehem, PA), though 99.9 The Hawk is decent.

I listen to Q106 the most. It was classic rock forever then recently they've added in more early to mid 90's rock. It's nice.

I don't listen to the radio, mostly, just for sports stuff. That makes my favorite stations 1310 The Ticket, 103.3 ESPN Radio, and XM 15 The Village. The Village is an all-Folk music channel. :D

In the mornings I'll usually listen to NPR. Later I'll turn on a classic rock or jazz station.

We have JACK FM here too (93.3). Playing what they want constitutes playing the same 100 songs over and over.

I think JACK is all over North America. And I like 98 of the 100 songs that they play. :)

We listen to a station called Key 103 (Manchester) at work. Some of the DJ's are quite good (Mike Toolan and Justin Moorhouse to name a couple).

However, my favourite station is Smooth Radio - formerly Smooth FM. It plays great music, and there's no the annoying boy/girl band songs and rock anthems that other stations shove down your throat.

97.4 Rock FM (http://www.rockfm.co.uk/). Only people in NW England will have heard of it, though :p

Regardless of it being called 'Rock' FM, it hardly plays any rock really, it's a bit of everything.

My iTunes OCRemix playlist is the only music I even listen to regularly. If radio played game music, had game talk, and wasn't run by G4 type schmucks, I'd probably tune in, but otherwise noe, radio is lose.

Classic FM and 96.4 THE WAVE

And not forgetting W-Balls 187.4 when the Jackoff hour is on with DJ Eazydick.

I used to listen to 98.5 OZ FM when I lived in Newfoundland because they were the only radio station that didn't play country all the time. Now I just listen to my iPod.

When I do listen to the radio it's usually 99.5 FM in Springfield, and either 101.4, 98.7, or 104.1 when back in Northern California. I tend to just listen to my iPod or CD's though.

Cool FM and Rinse FM. There both pirate radio stations so there off now and again but one of them will always be on when the other is off so its all good. You can only get them in London though.

Radio One ftw. :D

Our local radio station is over-run with inane adverts, and vacuous, ignorant DJs who don't even do their research. :mad2:

I ususally just listen to the biggest Danish radio station, which is called P3. I really like it because they not only play the obvious hits, but also quite a bit alternative stuff. They also tend to concentrate on a lot of new and unknown artists, which is pretty neat. Other than that it's just very entertaining radio.

Oh, and also a station called "Det Elektriske Barometer" (The electric barometer). It only plays alternative music.
