Tell us all a hobby of yours that many people aren't aware of.

One of mine that most people don't know is that I really like to hook rug. It's pretty much the only domestic thing that I'm capable of besides basic baking. I can sew, but pretty much only in a clothes repairing way. Hook rugging is fun, but it can get so frustrating! :3

Really? That's pretty interesting actually.

I like to work on screenplays. I have one that's actually complete right now but I rushed a lot of it so I want to do some rewriting.

I make small structures out of blu tack
My favourite is my mini stonehedge

But sometimes people come in and take my blu tack so they can use it to 'hold things up'.. geez:mad:

I've been pretty lazy and lacking funds so I haven't done much the last few months but I breed bettas, sword tails and mollies. I was working ona tiger strip swordtail but I cba xD I was mixing red wags with black swordtails and got some good babies. I prefer breeding bettas to any other fish. Well i generally prefer bettas to any fish. They actually have personalities.

Do taking and making personality quizzes count? I'm absolutely obsessed with them... I made a Which Final Fantasy 8 Character Are You quiz on quizilla but I think it's kind of lame now so I started making another one... and yesterday I took like 3 Disney princess quizzes. 2 told me I was Sleeping Beauty, which I kinda figured I'd get.

Well, it's not really a hobby, but more of a obsession/interest.

I collect Laurel & Hardy DVD's, tapes and merchandise, as I'm a big fan.

Aside that.....I guess these forums.

The Main hobbies for me are videogames, Karate, Running,reading some strategy books, Train with weapons - I can use the Tonfas, the Sais, the Nunchakus and the Katana ...and if it counts, the Slingshot :p.
And I guess the University takes the rest of the time.

Steel-fighting.
Basically, rediscovering and recreating the Western steel-weapons martial arts, and related combat styles. Everything from English broadsword and quarterstaff to German longsword and rondel dagger.

but isnt that dangerous?There's always an element of risk, but that's why the first thing we learn is safety. We never spar with sharp weapons - all our swords are blunt, designed for exactly what we're doing. But even a blunt sword can hurt, of course, and a staff is blunt anyway. So we control our blows. Strike fast, but pull the blow so it doesn't land at full force.

I'm pretty sure most people know my hobbies, them being; reading, writing, gaming (and game development), watching films, listening to music and socialising. Ones people may not know about are; Iceskating, learning languages and hiking. At the moment I am trying to learn Polish, it's incredibly hard (for a european language, 32 character alphabet and some of them I can't even pronounce without laughing at myself) hopefully I'll get better at it soon.

Not many people know I like learning new words and languages. I'm learning Japanese at the moment (I just started, but I think I'm progressing well, I've already memorized 20 Hiragana characters and a few phrases, and I've only been at it for less than a week now). I'm also guilty of opening a dictionary merely for the sake of finding a new word and learning how it's used.

I make zines (I have one to finish this weekend) and indulge in band photography. I've had some pretty successful results so far, so now I just need to save up for a SLR digital camera so that I can take faster shots. At the moment I'm up against people with 15+more zoom than I have, and with a much faster shutter speed, which means that basically I'm just doing good at the moment because I have more drive than they do, but one day I'm going to get crushed in a mosh pit of death trying to get 'the perfect shot'.

omg i love anything art. when i even pass the arts and crafts section of walmart, my heart races :p i just made two pretty pairs of earrings. maybe ill take pics with my new digicam i got for my 18th bday and post em in the art thread. thats considered art.

and i love cyber-stalking bnads i like. im a conisuer (sp? :p) of mcr , afi, and im working on dimmu borgir. i mainly just look up the band history and the sexy guys lol. like gerard way (of course, my aim name is mrsway <3), his lil bro mikey, davey havok, and stian thoresen. sexy little thangs. lol <3

i like to do sudoku every once in awhile. i use to play at work a lot when i was bored.

i also like to catch snakes crockidile hunter style with my bare hands. so far ive gotten every sanke in my area includeing the venomous copperhead and timber rattle snake.

wtf? are you crazy?! i hating cleaning rifles!!!! they suck! cuz ya gotta fool with all the screws and parts, wool wire, lube, oil on your hands, the drill sergeat yelling at you for not doing it right, reassembling, and retaping (armed exhibition rifles) and reslinging em. bah! humbug! i like shoot them, though loading the clips in cold weather hurt your fingers after a while :\

A uncooked beef gravy :p Oxo is a brand of various food products, consisting of stock cubes, herbs and spices, dried gravy, and yeast extract. You are supposed to dispose an oxo cube onto the beef stuff while cooking :P But I ate ONLY oxo cubes without beef.

It's VERY, VERY, VERY tasteful when you start licking one, it has a lot of amount of salt and other stuff. It'd make your head explode :p But I'm still addicted to it, it's not a good thing I suppose.
