This is a thread all about your Cellphone/Mobile Phone.

Describe it to us, tell us what payment plan you're on (contract, pay as you go, etc), and share your undying love for it.

My phone is a Sony Ericsson Walkman. It's got a 2 gig memory stick inside which allows me to store plenty of music - ideal for the long walk to work and back. I'm not overly keen on the opening mechanism, though.

Here, take a look. (http://www.mas34.net/wp-images/images/SonyEricsson_W850i.jpg)

How about you?

My phone is...silver. And receives most international text messages, so PM me for my phone number, you bastards.

it's a clamshell thing from samsung that has a nice form factor and display but it doesn't do hardly anything.

I have a Samsung A900M.
47MBs, pretty decent as I only need a small bit of music.
Sadly, I dropped my phone one day and the front LCD screen cracked.
My phone. Well, not really. A PICTURE! (http://common.ziffdavisinternet.com/util_get_image/14/0,1425,i=149345,00.jpg)

I have a Nokia 6126. You push a button to flip it open, which is pretty cool. It's kind of ugly, but it has expandable memory so it's nice. My favorite part is my Luigi phone charm.

I'm on a Cingular family plan. In addition to the other phones, my phone is $10/month for unlimited night and weekend, unlimited mobile to mobile, and some amount of anytime minutes that I don't remember because I never come close to using them all. I think 1500 with half that for roll-over.

I currently use an HTC Titan (also known as Mogul, P4000 and PPC6800) running my hacked Windows Mobile 6 ROM on Telecom NZ. It's pretty much a computer. :p

This is what it looks like:

That's no phone, it's a space station!

Anyway, I have a really poor phone. It's a typica low-cost cheap phone that I had to buy because I broke my previous phone and had to get a new one real quick, but I didn't have enough money for the model I really wanted... and I haven't had money for that ever since either. :(. I've got a contract for it, which is really cheap, I'd say. It's so cheap that I won't get any phones subsidized with it, but that's ok.

The phone I want now isn't exactly bleeding edge, it's from early last year, but it's a so-called 3G phone (UTMS 2100), so i'll get decent data transfer rates. Something like 384kbps, iirc. It's got an okay 2 MP camera, video recording capabilities and it supports memory cards as big as 4 GB. 8 GB shouldn't really be a problem either, it's just not official.

I don't really use the phone for more than text messages, calling and reading some news, and for that, this phone is good enough. 3G is just so that it won't be retardedly slow when I use it as a modem for my laptop. It's a monoblock, cause i hate slide and flip phones.

In case you wondered, its a Nokia 6233 (http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4221208). I need to get it sometime soon, because I don't think it'll be in production for much longer, which is a shame. If I want a newer model from Nokia with the same specs, I'll cost like 50% more, and the only things I'll gain would be some silly features I'd never use. Oh, and it'll be the black one.

I have a Sagem myV-65 (http://www.areamobile.de/images/handies/sagem/myV_65/200310171338myV_65_vorn_und_hinten.jpg). It's not really flashy and it can't really do much other than take poor quality photos but it's not like I ever have credit on it anyway, I hardly use it. I'm on pay as you go.

It's pretty buggered now though as I've dropped it too many times so it just turns its self off whenever it feels like.

Sony Ericsson k750i. It stores 1GB of music at the moment (though I can make it store 2) and runs the DOOM RPG, so I'm perfectly happy with it. It does, however, crash if it tries to play an mp3 file that's a bit dodgy or corrupt, but that's understandable.

It's on O2 Pay and Go, which I've been on for about seven years though I'm currently on my third telephone number.

I've had the same phone number for 7 and a half years now. I see no reason to change it.

I got myself a Sony Ericsson W810i or something or other just after Christmas, because the SIM card in my other phone (a Motorola Razr, which I traded in) kept slipping out, and the keys on the phone didn't let me access voicemail, so I couldn't pick up any messages.

It took me ages to get used to locking the keys again, after having a flip phone for such a long time. Luckily, it vibrates a warning if the keypad is active and the keys are mashed together.

The only thing that sucks is I have a pay as you go plan, which runs out really quickly.

I have that phone. I hate it. it's a utter pos. I'm on my 2nd one that is 3 months old and the top piece is half coming off already, the doors to the plug ins have fallen off (one came off the first time I opened it) the first one I had wasn't bad but it somehow got water damaged in my freaking pocket.

I've heard things like that about how they break easily. The thing is that I really don't use my phone much, so it's fine. I text and make calls only a few times a week on it. xD

Hmm this thread made me think of the episode of foamy (illwillpress duh) episode entitled "Cell Phones & Car Ads" but I can't find a good source to link it from :P.

However on topic: I have a Sony Ericsson W200i Clamshell phone, it's white and pretty crap but I like the sony ericssons (bar this one, it has terrible buttons) I'm on O2 pay as you go.

I have a Sony Ericsson too. I can't be bothered to remember the phone model number or anything, but it can play mp3/radio/video/3d games and has a camera and such. It's a decent phone. I bought a 1gig chip to go with it for more mp3 space.

My current phone has run its course. The battery dies really fast now, and the 6 button doesn't always work. Kind of sucks when the area code around here has a 6 in it.

However, I get my new phone on my birthday in a little more than a month, because that's when my contract expires. I got my first phone for my 16th birthday. But I can't wait to get a new one! :D

Motorola SLVR. I like it sometimes and sometimes it's a pain in the ass. The OK button fell off so now it just is the button under it. Craptastic. My next phone won't be a Motorola. My Samsung I had for two years is still in better condition.
