So I was cleaning my room the other day and found this game, Eternal Eyes, that I acquired almost 9 years ago. I started playing it again, and realized why it was one of my favorites back then.

Has anyone played (or even heard of) this game? For those who don't know, it's like Final Fantasy Tactics and Pokémon smashed into one game.

Discuss.

I got it once but could never get into it, so I traded it pretty soon after.

It starts out slow, but picks up later on, especially once you can get your party up to their final forms.

Sunsoft, if I remember correctly. I couldn't find it on Wikipedia. I don't recall the game getting any major attention either, but if you get the chance, I'd suggest playing it.

I'm sure it will be, if you can find it. I actually got it for my birthday from my uncle, and I don't think it was even 20 dollars back then. Now, it might even be under 10 dollars. xD

$4?! Wow. Buy it when you can! xD

Oh, just a little note: Many of the names of the characters and names of items and terminology of the game do not sync up with the game manual. I'd say skip reading the manual if at all possible.

I have this game!

Too bad that it's been at the flea market for a while, though (I took my copy there to get it cleaned off and haven't picked it up yet). My friend gave me the game for free, since I helped him get Smash Bros. Melee.

I got about 10 minutes into the game before it stopped working (thus the trip to the flea market), so I wasn't really able to play through the second battle, but from what little I did play, it seems like if Pokemon, FFT, and Rhapsody just had one big orgy. :p It seems fun so far, and now that you've brought this thread up, I'm gonna go back to the flea market this weekend and pick up my copy before the lady there decides to sell it off.

Well in today's standards, it's less than stellar of course. What it may lack as a game it makes up for in nostalgic value.
