Ok so i just got this game for my Ps1 Emulator, I have the original but i wanted it on my comp, any ways, the main character looks the esact same as the main in the newer version of tatics, for GBA. I know you know that, not the portrait but the "movable character" any ways, so......theres not much thats diffrent from either game, accept that this stupid max level 8, is there a "base level"? like in the GBA version there is a max level of 50.

Both games are different. Marche is only based off of Ramza. That is the only real similarity. That is JOB LEVEL. Job level is for job proficiencies. Then there is CHARACTER LEVEL. Which is the character base level. EXP increases Level. JP increases Job Level.

Yes. 99 is the top level for characters.
