Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions... Same name as the Game in which it is based...

Walkthroughs do not usually have specific titles other than the name of the game on which they are based. In this case, depending on the version of the game you are playing, you would look for a walkthrough for Final Fantasy Tactics or Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions.

Please rephrase your question to receive additional assistance.

Ok with out breaching rules and what not I wanted to point out two things, one leads to another:

1 - the walmarts were i live do not have the walk through so ((this leads to number two))

2 - There is no torrent that contains the walk through - theres a walk through torrents for every other ff game but this one......-.-

((note:

i am not asking for links, i am simply stating the obvious))

i only use walk through's for the character class and job and what not descriptions, hints and helpful tips

You could just check gamefaqs. Usually the fan made walkthroughs are much better then the commercial ones. I still chuckle inside every time I see the FFXI walk through.

Thats funny considering that you cant make a walk through for a online game...well for quests maybe

I've never seen a FFT strategy guide for sale (not that I've looked) but I'm pretty sure there's an FFTA one.

But yeah. Strategy guides are a waste of money. All of the information you could want is on GameFAQs.

For basic walkthroughs goto gamefaqs, neoseeker (same thing), or cavesofnarshe (this is for the PSX version).

I actually have two copies of the official strategy guide. The binding on the older one came apart so I punched holes in the pages and put them in a three ring binder. That's my reference copy.

Gamefaqs has useful information, but check out the frontsite of EoFF to find the only totally accurate Propositions list. A little something Despotus and I worked on. :)

Was it Prima that made a strategy guide for Final Fantasy Tactics? I remember hearing that it did not a good job on expounding on some of the finer points of the game.

dyingchild, what you were asking for is referred to as an official strategy guide. What everyone is telling you is to look at a a list of walkthroughs for the game (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/game/197339.html).

If you do actually want the official strategy guide, though, here's (http://www.amazon.com/FINAL-FANTASY-Tactics-Official-Bradygames/dp/074400974X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1200407050&sr=8-2) it's Amazon.com page.

Edit: Huh, that was weird.

And what Kurt said about the binding coming apart, that totally happened to mine, too.

Ouch!

I swear I saw a copy of the official guide for the PSP remake for sale at Gamestop, but I'm not sure you'd be able to find it there easily anymore.

As others have suggested, walkthroughs are generally more detailed and in most ways better than commercial release player's guides; the only thing you're going to lack is pretty pictures, which you can probably do just fine without.

Edit: here's the FFT: War of the Lions guide on Gamestop. (http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=832154)

I think so. I'll double check.

Some errata from the strategy guide:

1) Some Proposition reward data is wrong.

2) Transposed some of the move-find treasure coordinates in Deep Dungeon

3) Incorrectly labeled some items. For example, the Rubber Suit is called Rubber Concious.

4) Izlude is shown in a level that you don't encounter him in.

In addition there's scant attention paid to weather effects, Zodiac compatibility, Faith and Brave, and battle mechanics. Most of this stuff can be found in aerostar's authoritative Battle Mechanics Guide on gamefaqs.

Now, that was funny. (http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-Tactics-Official-Strategy/dp/0761537333/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1200418988&sr=8-1) :p

I'm not Kurt, although we share the same taste in avatars. :D

No problem.

Both copies of my strat guide are by Prima, but one is newer, apparently printed to coincide with the rerelease of FFT in the Greatest Hits series.

I got the prima one, the only problem I really had with it was that it spoiled what happens in the cutscenes before the fight. The last battle of Chapter 1 was really ruined for me.
