Hey, I'm new here, but I always go for the graphics boards at forums first, so here's my debut.

These are in chronological order from oldest to latest, spanning from the Summer of 2004 to last month. My preferences have changed quite a bit over time, but I still do one thing to make my graphics: blend. I blend insanely, probably too much. Oh well.

They're not bad at all but somtimes simplicity is the key :) Sometimes people confuse blending with pasting tons of c4ds and smudges and that's not good!
These arte my favourites and you'lll know why I choosen them:

I think you should keep this style, because that's the best one! :) It has a soft blend and original ideas! :D
This style is not good,
http://r2f4.ubergaming.net/gfx/NoasuniSG.jpg
it doesn't have a contrast and it seemed to busy ^^ however if you keep calm while making your banners and don't past lots of images one after another it'll be good! oh and don't sharpen so much! :( Try to sharp just a little bit!
We'll have a graphic design contest this week if you wanna join feel free to ;)
Good luck m8

Your last piece looks pretty great, good flow and depth, though I wouldn't of given the edges that style. :p

Thanks for the comments.
@ Polaris -- And a special thanks for the critique. My preference over time has shifted more towards simpler signatures with strong compositions. I've also experimented with different styles in the past--the Noalei (it was a request for her) and the Final Fantasy XII signatures were both trying to accomplish the same style (and even the latest one, to an extent), but the Rikku and Kairi/Namine signature style is definitely my current. I don't use C4Ds (don't even know what they are :P) or brushes--all of the effects are done by blending and overlaying images.

oh but don't worry I see you don't use c4ds I was talking generally! ^^
The last two ones seemed to have brushes but that's just me ^^ You can start using brushes! they're a major help!

Brushes? Never!
The second to last one consists of a couple of Lamborghini photos blended on top of one another, and the brown FFVII one...let's just say that it's my strangest idea yet. It's Yuffie, with a meteor as a head (I tried to make the text serve as the "tail" of the meteor) and then the cover art of FFVII in the background (with Cloud tattooed onto her arm :P ).

well, welcome to EOFF and the line of graphics ^^!
I agree with Polaris that sometimes the simple things can look quite nice. This tip i'll take aboard too, im beginning to slot in too many C4D's.
I reckon' though, you're good enough to go and compete. You tend to learn a few things in the competition. eg. like what's in these days, ideas and use of images. Last time i competed I lost, but it helped me out with sig making. If you're planning to compete, goodluck! I like your style.
Also, what program do you use?
Keep up the sigs!

You click the brush tool, then where you select the brush you want to use there is a circle with an arrow in it. Click the button, find "load brushes" find your brushes, and click it.

I really like the style that you have! I especially love the Namine and Kairi sig! It's very smooth and clear.

i like the KH and FFXII sigs ... they look really cool... but i think that all your sigs are great and you seem to be a very good sigmaker :)

Hey everyone, it's been so long since I've last done graphics, but I sort of returned to it today with this, a request on another forum:

It looks a lot my my older style. Apparently I haven't evolved as much as I first thought.

Nice work :D Perhaps work on colours and contrast ^^ Text is distracting too much of the bg Work on that as well!

They are notably awesome. I love the second one. Too bad they're all too big to use as sigs here or I'd be all over that.
These are probably the best sigs I've ever seen posted on this site.

How do you create those rounded corners? it really adds the touch to the sig ^^

You're really good. I especially like the second one :) Very collage-y and I like the colours and the whole The Beatles thing.

Thanks. I went through a hardcore Beatles phase.
@ Kanshisha -- Those images are saved as .PNG, which allows for transparency. Basically all I do is erase away whatever I want to be invisible--in this case, the corners.
