As you all should know Loony BoB has been doing "Greatest Disney Character in the Universe" (http://forums.eyesonff.com/lounge/113683-greatest-animated-disney-character-universe-round-two-groups-i-p.html) and I was just curious to what your favourite Disney movies are? Have you ever pretended to be Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" when you're in a bath? :shifty: Not that I have. :D

So what are your favourite Disney Movies? :mog:

Aladdin and the Emperor's New Groove!!!

The Little Mermaid is my favorite. It was a huge part of childhood! Although I loved Ursula and not Ariel because I'm disturbed and liked evil things. It had my favorite music too! I even have all the covers done of the songs, including the 3,235 covers of Part of Your World. :cat:

Treasure Planet is definitely my favourite Disney movie. The sky surfing parts are so awesome and Jim and Silver are really awesome characters (I even had a Treasure Planet set back in June).

Sleeping Beauty. The detail of the animation is awesome and the music from the ballet is great too. Also, Maleficent is the best villian ever. She made me always want to be the witch/evil queen whatever when my sisters and I played "Princess" or whatever...

Aladdin. I wish I had a monkey an genie and a flying carpet. But mostly a monkey in fez. Abu was awesome.

Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo.

It combines my two favorite things about movies: horrid dialogue and Herbie.

Sleeping Beauty for me as well. I've always loved that movie since I was a little kid. I loved quoting Maleficent, which means I would scream "Now shall you deal with me, oh, prince! And all the powers of HEEEEELLLL!!!11ONE!" randomly. Twas very fun.

I used to pretend to be Jasmine from Aladdin. My favorite princess now is Sleeping Beauty though.

But my all time favorite movie would definitely have to be The Lion King! :D (the first one, I hate Disney sequels)

The Lion King and it's not even close.

Toy Story and Fantasia get an honorable mention.

Yes I love Maleficient, but because I was little that time I had to watch the brazilian translation and their voices are sooooo great specially 'Malévola'! ^^ I never liked blond princesses in Disney World but the image when Aurora is sleeping on the tower was really awsome! At that time I was fat little girl and watching that film made me want to be like her ^^

The Lion King is my favourite. Timon is a legend.

It tends to be that I love the wacky secondary characters the most. Timon and Mushu are amazing.

There are many, but the following are certainly among the best in my opinion (I'm not taking Pixar movies and the live-action ones into account): Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Lion King, Pocahontas and Mulan.

Well, two of my favourite Disney movies are The Lion King and Bambi. :)

The Lion King has the best animation of the Disney movies from the Disney Renaissance era, the artwork is stunning, and the voice actors are superb. The characters are memorable, and the enjoyable storyline mixes drama and comedy well. The music often steals the show by having memorable songs with great melodies and lyrics, and the underscore is hauntingly beautiful with its multiple themes and beautiful synth, choral and orchestral power.

Bambi is a great, lyrical masterpiece with great artwork, stunning animation and awesome use of the multiplane camera. The voice actors here are very good too, and the characters are memorable. The plot moves in a nice pace and juggles both comedic and dramatic scenes gracefully, and the music (both songs and score) are hauntingly beautiful and play an important part in the story.

Aladdin and the Emperor's New Groove!!!

Hell yes, plus Fantasia. Toy Story is the only acceptable Disney/Pixar movie.

If I had to pick one (sticking to the topic), TENG would win.

You owe me a new acorn.

I generally hate most Disney films; but I did really like Alice in Wonderland, Fantasia, and Aladin, mostly because the villains were not as overdone.

I would like to mention that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, although it isn't my favorite, is the best animated Disney film ever created. Cinderella also deserves to be mentioned.
