Will there be KH III?

With the new PSP game Birth by sleep you play as those knights from the trailer and fight that old guy dressed like Ansem, so I was wondering if Square will still do a KHIII or is birth by sleep the only new thing we'll be getting?

While it's likely that they haven't started working on KHIII just yet, quite frankly they'd be dumb to not make KHIII at some point. They're just working on the 3 handheld games and FFvXIII at the moment.

I think with the handhelds and FF XIII/Versus/Agito Square would be stupid to do KH3 yet. Too much to do=crap games. Maybe in 2011....

There is also an original DS Kingdom Hearts in the work, as well as a cellphone title that is some sort of retelling of the original game, I believe. I don't remember. Anyway, no one outside of Japan will play that one.

I think a Kingdom Hearts III is pretty much a given, and we'll see it in a couple years.

I believe that there will be a Kingdom Hearts III, eventually; however, I think that Tetsuya Nomura is focusing on establishing the Kingdom Hearts mythos through the use of side story and prequel titles.

If they do, I think there should be a Three Musketeers world. You know. France. I'm not talking about Mickey, Donald, Goofy Three Musketeers, I mean the real musketeers as in the movie starring Kiefer, Charlie, and Chris.
Your world sidekick could be D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers could show up then and again to lend a sword as well.
You could fight the good fight against Captain Rochefort and the evil Count Richelieu to defend young King Louis and Queen Anne against attempted assassination by the Countess Sabine DeWinter.
Yes, I know how the real story goes, but things are always changed up a bit in the game.
It'd be awesome to get a Keychain from this world too. Something fancily designed like the Ultima Weapon.

If you look at the bottom it shows the front cover of the next issue with Kingdom Hearts 3 clearly being headlined. It could of been photoshopped but I havent seen that artwork before so it could likely be true. Im not that bothered about Kingdom Hearts but this definately sucks for Sony. Developers never have any loyalty these days.

I think that artwork was made and posted on DeviantArt; furthermore, I think that this is a false announcement, as Nintendo Power is not a worldwide magazine and Square Enix would want to reveal the title in a Japanese gaming magazine rather than an American gaming magazine.

There are several games soon to be released Birth by sleep, 358/2 days, and Coded. Nomura has also said that these will not be the final titles in the series, and there will be a game that ties them together like KH2 did with chain of memories. I also think that. Since KH is a game with GRRRRRREAT graphics, I expect some annousmments in 2010 and they will release it sometime in 2013. Thought it depends if KHIII will be either in the Wii or in the PS3.

The bit about Agito was from SE's event at the beginning of August, and has been confirmed in multiple places. I have not, however, seen any evidence suggesting that the same is true about Coded. I sincerely doubt it since Birth by Sleep is already a PSP title.
