I've been playing Rune Factory for the past few days and I can't stop. There's just too much to do. Farming, fishing, mining, dating, lumberjackering, spelunking, demon slaying, ect.

So what's the most addictive game you've played?

Of all the games I played, Animal Crossing was the only one to grip me with such a ritualistic obsession that I would, for a time, get up early before school just to check on my town at 6 am, and come home and play it for hours on end. This period didn't last for more than a couple months, but when it had me, it had me.

In terms of raw play time, nothing could compete with Super Smash Bros. Melee or Halo 2, though I bet Halo 3 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl will eventually surpass them.

Each new Final Fantasy, Metal Gear and Syphon Filter consumes my soul from the moment the disc leaves the case.

Harvest Moon: Magical MElody.

That game is worse then crack.

And the side effects arguably worse.

Like Big D, each new Final Fantasy. Also each new Tekken game seems to stick me to the couch for a good while.

Currently, I'm finding myself being more and more addicted to Final Fantasy XI

Diablo II in terms of longevity, I can still go back and play for a time.
In terms of constant playing and replaying, my guess would be any fighting game.
Mostly Dead Or Alive,Soul Calibur and Tekken have my soul.

World of Warcraft is high up there.

But the really, really hardcore ones are Morrowind, Alpha Centauri, Civilization 2 and 3, and X-Com. Those five combined probably account for a significant percentage of all my gaming time ever.

There are way too many to list. My gaming endurance is simply unnatural when I'm really into something. The only acceptable way for me to die is in an internet cafe from sleep, food, and water deprivation.

The first KOTOR stuck me and my friend to the couch for nearly a WEEK! We ate egos, drank pitchers of coffee and slept in two hour intervals... I will never do that again...

Super Mario Strikers. Multiplayer with friends makes that game addictive as hell.

Animal Crossing had me hooked for a good few months, though it soon got boring and now my town will be covered in weeds and cockroaches, but I'm not really bothered. Viva Piņata had me hooked for awhile, as I was determined to get a Galagoogoo to become resident but it just never happened so I gave up.

Right this minute though, I started playing Conkers bad fur day on the N64 (the poor graphics and terrible camera angles took awhile to get used to) last week and I absolutely adore it, I'm straight on it as soon as I get home <3

Civilization IV takes the cake, when I played Guild Wars that probably would've registered a distant second.

FF, GTA, MGS, and the godfather incarnations are games i usually play a few hours at a time a day, but they never seem to get too far in the way of stuff i have to do, although I did play FFTA all the way through a bio lecture today...

I've been having a hard time lately to get into games. :/

When I play it, I get completely absorbed into Civ IV, though my computer lately does not like it and basically lags too much once I get half way through a civilization.

KHII is a game I come back to pretty often though. I <3 And when the mood strikes me FFT as well.

Oh and Twilight Princess. <3 I could stare at Link all day

I hear ya there on Animal Crossing. The game is fun but gets kinda boring fast. My Town both on my DS and Cube are covered in Weeds and Cockroaches

Probably Diablo II, it's the only game that made me stay up until 4 a.m. just to beat Duriel with my Rogue.

Final Fantasy IX. And the other FFs.

Ive never played an MMORPG and I dont want to. T'would take over the remaining, pitiful remnants of the object known as my life.
