This only serves to remind me that I spent three hours driving around Schaumburg, IL (the seller's location) trying to find myself a copy of Chrono Cross.

In more related news, holy crap.

Things are only worth what someone would pay for it.

And apparently people will pay 1217$ for chrono trigger.

I wish I had that kind of money to blow on video games. I hope he plays it, why spend that much just to gawk at it?

You would've received a complete Chrono Trigger set for your birthday two years ago if you hadn't bought a Chrono Trigger cartridge just before then.

I'd say the reverse is true. Why spend that much if you're going to play it? You could easily pirate the game or find a legit copy for well under $100. I think it's crazy to pay 1200 bucks for a game, but the worst thing to do would be to open it and reduce it's value tremendously. :p
