So there's an Aerosmith Guitar Hero (http://kotaku.com/356916/dream-on-with-guitar-hero-aerosmith) game in the works.

I don't understand all of the Aerosmith hate from people born after 1995, though. xP They're widely considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time. Though I can see how this might be just a bit too much Aerosmith if they do it wrong. Apparently, it's going to include songs from Aerosmith-related bands as well (bands that have worked with Aerosmith or have inspired them) so I'm hoping it'll be varied enough to keep from getting dull.

But I'm still not paying $60 for an expansion set (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_the_80s).

I really adore Aerosmith's rockin' roller coaster at Disney if that's relevant. No? Fine, that's overpriced then.

I should note that they haven't set a price for it, or said how much content would be new. :P I was just talking about the last time they made a spinoff GH game.

Guitar Hero is going to become the new Sims.

The only song I'd want off it is "Run DMC - Ft. Aerosmith - Walk this Way".
And I wouldn't even know if it will have it.

Also, making a GH dedicated to 1 band sounds pretty lame.

I dig Aerosmith, but that still won't make me buy a Guitar Hero game.

Yeah I heard about this and lol'd. I love Aerosmith but, an entire game for them? I dunno about that.

I've really had kind of a bad feeling towards the franchise since Harmonix left the development of it. Seems like it's just gonna get whored out with Activision posting record profits from it.

Not really interested in a game that's solely Aerosmith based, even with a few bands sprinkeled in that're related. The fun of GH is in the variety of music. This, again, just seems like whoring out the franchise.
