It's really hard to say because there are so many talented actors/actresses out there, and there are many that I really respect. But, some of my favourites for whatever reasons are (random order):'

- Uma Thurman
- Keira Knightly
- Natalie Portman
- Scarlett Johansson
- Angelina Jolie

Edward Norton and Daniel Day-Lewis are incredible actors. I also haven't seen Forest Whittaker, Christopher Walken, or Denzel Washington play a bad role.

For actresses: Scarlett Johansson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Natalie Portman, and Uma Thurman are my favorites.

If I had to choose one absolute favorite, it'd be Cate Blanchett. I don't think there's a single other actor out there who can transform themselves so thoroughly and convincingly for every single role they play. She's a goddess.

And despite never really being a fan of Tom Hanks, I've found that in nearly every movie I watch him in, I enjoy immensely, so there's him, too.

Some of my old favourites just don't cut it very often these days, often playing in sub-par comedies or movies that just don't have the story made for amazing acting. Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Jim Carrey... the likes of them just don't really do big films anymore, or at least not with very serious roles. But hey, they can pick their roles as they please, there will always be other actors willing to take the better ones.

I don't have fav actors or actress, I like to watch a film and it's enough however I must say I absotuley adored Johnny Depp in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" and also on "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"! I'm still looking forward to see "Sweeney Todd" but hopefully I'll see it soon.

I actually might consider this guy to be the worst actor ever. He's huge in America because of SNL I imagine, but his movies are all a load of crap. I heard he's one of the least bankable actors in the world because only Americans find him funny. xD
