my backyard

Did your brother get married there? I think I remembered you writing about that in the el jays, but I could be wrong. That's nice!

I want something similar to a backyard wedding too, very grassy and sunny. Just not my backyard, since it's small. xD

If I could really be married ANYWHERE, I'd be in Central Park, by that nice big lake. Ahhhhhh~ :kaoclove:

He got married in his wife's parent's front yard, which is in front of a much nicer house, but doesn't have as great a view ;)

[edit- for the grammar nazis, it was in fact only her dad's house, since her mom lives in like maryland or somewhere, so you don't even think about complaining about my apostrophe!]

I'm not religious, so not in a church. I wouldn't mind an outside wedding if it was summer, but British weather is unpredictable. I don't know! :jess:

Yes! I want something cute and sunny. I want to have a bubble blowing party after my wedding. I want a Hello Kitty engagement ring. :kaoclove:

I hope you invite Kishi-hime and his magic stick! It will make his bright day beautifully filled with all the bubbles! =O

My dream wedding takes place in a secluded church in the middle of nowhere (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kn1mgoeRBvs).

My closest friends would be present. As we walk around the dilapidated church and talk amongst ourselves, one of my friends ask me if I would have liked to have been married in a place like this, and asks me if I still have my wedding outfit. I nod. I move to the corner to change into it because I need to let go of that desire to have things turn perfectly, and I gracefully suit myself into the wedding outfit. As I walked back out into the main corridor, my friends' eyes drifted upwards. Something was coming down from the ceiling!

I don't have a very romantic view on marriages, I mostly see it as an economical arrangement. But if my spouse would want to celebrate it, I'm all for it!

My parents' marriage was an act of impulse; They were in town on a regular monday and didn't really know what to do with their day, so they decided "Why not get married?", and went to the town hall or something like that, and just did it. Then they bought a bottle of champagne and went home. :)

I'm not too keen on getting married. I might get married. I'm definitely not having kids though.

What will I do? I'd like to invite people to my wedding, so it will actually be a ceremony with all of the trimmings and etc. The difference is that it will be just a legal/secular ceremony.

Failing that, I'll just throw a huge effing party after we go to the lawyer.

In a farm...

We would all drink ale while having a merry sing-a-long to "Old MacDonald's farm".

In the center of a volcano. It would be pretty good for both of us since I'd be able to tell if the woman I was marrying would be bad-ass enough to survive my ultra-sonic lovin'.

agreements. Also, I think that's dead cute.

Locations...errrrrm...I dunno. I guess it depends mainly on who I'd be marrying.

A haunted house on Halloween would be sexy. Any wedding I have will be soaked in angst and horror. Mm, delicious.

I'd like to have mine back at home, in Greece. It'll be on the dock where my family used to take me for midday walks. There'll be white roses everywhere with little blue bulb flowers. Of course, since i know thats just a farfetched dream and its also not feasable, i'll just probably end up having it in some worn down chapel in a handmedown wedding gown and a handfull of daisies.

I really like the look of Dunrobin castle but not sure, either a palace, a castle or a winter wedding in the snow.

either a palace, a castle or a winter wedding in the snow.

I had a gorgeous vision one night of a winter wedding at night in a room with glass walls on either side, letting in snowy white moonlight and lit with candles within. That would probably be my pick if it weren't so difficult to come by where I live.

Ouch!

I know I want to have an outdoor wedding. Secluded, sunny, surrounded by trees. I don't really know if my dream wedding site actually exists, but I haven't done any extensive search or anything.

I think Nestldown (http://www.nestldown.com/index.html) in Palo Alto California is really lovely. I can totally imagine getting married in this little space surrounded by trees. Look how gorgeous it is!

And they have a cottage there! It's like something out of a Thomas Kinkade painting.

I wouldn't mind having a destination wedding either. Maybe in Italy. That'd be sweet.

Yeah, probably Dunrobin Castle for me, it's the most ideal location I've seen so far. But honestly I'm not heavily bothered and I doubt I'll be able to afford to hire it out for a day, let alone manage the costs of getting everyone so far away from civilization.

I'll be happy so long as the sun is out (You people want it in the snow? Are you crazy!?), the grass is green, it's a nice looking place and everyone is happy. And, er, there.

If I were to get married, I'd love for it to happen abroad. I've always wanted to go to Japan, so it'd be great if I ever got married there! Other than that, maybe Sydney in Australia...

Hopefully I'll be famous by the time I'm ready to get married, so it can happen on live TV or something. >_>

And also the answer that leaves you saying "yes ma'am" for the next sixty years and quashing your childhood dreams of being a badass. Gotta put your foot down early and tell that woman you're going out for a few drinks with the fellas and that you expect dinner ready when you step through the door, whatever time that may be.

My cousin got married yesterday, it was terrible. The sound system at the church was bad, I did not understand a word they said (cause they spoke their native tounge), not enough tables at the reception, and the food was quite hard.
